1. Application form and Prospectus for Ph.D. (F.T./P.T.) programme can be downloaded from the University website: (www.b-u.ac.in)

3. The above said application fees payable in the form of Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank / Challan (Bank of India) shall be drawn in favour of “The Registrar,Bharathiar University, Coimbatore”, (mention name of the candidate at the backside of the DD).

FOR ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS:

First Copy (without any enclosures) has to be sent to the Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore -641 046 and Second copy (with all attested Xerox copies testimonials from 10th standard onwards along with original demand draft) are to be sent to the HOD/Director of the concerned Department of Bharathiar University.

The Application consists of two copies (First Copy and Second Copy)

Xerox copies of the testimonials from 10th std onwards are to be sent to the Principal/Director of the concerned Affiliated Colleges/Recognized Research Institutions of Bharathiar University

FOR ADMISSION TO THE AFFILIATED COLLEGES/ RECOGNIZED RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS OF BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY:

(for SC/ST Candidates the minimum eligibility is 50 %)

Read the instructions carefully before downloading the application. This application is meant only for regular M.Phil. (F.T./P.T.) programme for October 2019 session offering in the University Departments/Affiliated Colleges and Recognized Research Institutions. It is NOT for CATEGORY-B stream.

4. If a candidate wish to apply for more than one department of the University/Affiliated colleges, he/she has to pay Rs. 500/- as cost of application for each M.Phil. programme separately.

5. Candidate should go through the prospectus carefully regarding Eligibility criteria.

6. University Departments/Affiliated colleges/ Recognized Research Institutions offers Full time / Part time.

While applying for the M.Phil. programme in the Affiliated colleges/Research Institutions the candidates should submit First Copy only with Demand Draft (Cost of application) to the Registrar, Bharathiar University and Second copy of the application along with all attested

Admission will be made on the based on the following criteria:

1) PG marks (minimum 55%) & 2) CET marks (minimum 10 marks obtained in JUNE 2019)

2. Cost of Application for M.Phil. is Rs. 500/-

The filled in applications along with necessary enclosures should reach to the University and to the concerned colleges on or before 5.30 pm on 30.07.2019
