Greetings

Dear Parents

It is with great pride and excitement that we write this letter of introduction to you. We are

holds best interest at our hearts and we assure you that we won’t leave any stones unturned

in helping them to realize their latent talent. We are here to foster skills, education, morals,

integrity, & humility in them. We ensure that our system will provide important transitions

and the acquisition of new skills that will enhance each student’s ability to apply learning in

many new ways. We are continuously striving to provide conducive & rigorous curriculum

that would help each student progress at various aspects such as: mentally, intellectually,

physically, & spiritually.

Moreover, we highly appreciate the support and understanding that our parents have

bestowed on us so far, & we anticipate same in future. The response rate of admissions and

mutual coordination with school has been truly overwhelming. In partnership with parents,

community, & our staff members we are sure to provide integrated arts to ignite enthusiasm

for learning, deepen understanding, and enhance the learning journey of each learner in our

school.

This deduces us to comprehend that together as BMIS community, we will build on the

PRI-PRIMARY PARENT ORIENTATION It has often been observed that parents & teachers mutual cooperation and involvement in a child's learning

process often leads to maximized potentials and better results. The foundation of a good parent-teacher

relationship is open communication, mutual respect and a clear understanding of working in the best interest

of the child. At Bhagwan Mahavir International School our learner's interest, curiosity, & development in

their journey of learning is prioritized. Keeping in mind school had organized the Parent Orientation

Programme for Pre Primary parents on 21st June'19. Principal Dr. Shailaja, Marketing, Events, & PR Head

Ms. Ankita & Pre Primary coordinator Ms. Mital enlightened the gathering by sharing information on

various aspects related to learner's progress and how by working in collaboration, the conducive

environment & nurturing can be given to enrich learner's learning journey.

DENTAL CHECK-UP As an action for human endeavour, Bhagwan Mahavir International School had organized a dental check-up

for its learners. The learners were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth

decay. The surgeons also informed to learners about the possible formation of harmful acid which develops

when bacteria comes in contact with sugar which ultimately results in tooth decay. Learners had an

opportunity to talk to dentists and acquire knowledge about the same.

SPORTS Exercise helps learners with executive functions like sequencing, memory, & prioritizing which contributes

to necessary skills for success in school & life. At Bhagwan Mahavir International School, every morning

kids start their day with physical activities under the supervision of trained professionals. These exercise

releases endorphins, which elevate mood & gives them the attitude of ‘I can do it’, this attitude goes a long

way as learners’ approaches challenges, & new tasks.

Play Way Method of Learning

Play-way method of learning is certainly one of the apt methods to persuade learners with educational

concepts. It fosters freedom of expression & creative skills among learners, as it revolves around activity-

based learning. Learners of Nursery are learning the concept of Alphabet C through the play-way method.

Bhagwan Mahavir International School also focuses on skill development, along with conventional learning

techniques.

Learning Beyond Classrooms

Teaching & Learning both becomes interesting when learners learn beyond the constraints of classroom

walls. At Bhagwan Mahavir International School, we continuously strive to provide a conducive & fun

learning environment. Here’s grade 1 learners’ learning about ascending & descending order on staircase &

through game.

Senses

Senses are something which we use every day to understand the world around us. The five senses - seeing,

hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching helps us to learn about our surroundings. Grade 1 teacher did a

hands-on activity with these little ones for their better understanding about senses.

Learning About Shapes Shapes help children with a range of important skills such as improved communication, greater creative

skills, sorting objects, and pre-reading and writing skills. Shapes help children to identify and organize

visual information. When children are sorting shapes they are using the fundamental process: observation of

the same and different. At this age, it's of utmost importance for children to develop their cognitive skills

and learn to identify different colors and shapes.

Learners of JrKg had so much fun on 24th June'19, in understanding the concept of shapes. Such a play-way

method makes the learning process more interesting.

Seed Balls In the highly volatile era of modernization, tress is often the silent victims which are being chopped off to

build metro stations, colossal apartments, & steel flyovers. To look out for sustainable change, nature-loving

citizens have come up with an explosive idea – seed bombing!

On 24th June'19, learners of grade V, VI, VII, VIII, & IX in collaboration with Mr. Rahul Mehra from

Ludhiana, did an exciting activity. They learned how to make seed balls and how it would help in expanding

the green belt on Earth. Learners showed good interest, participated actively, & learned a new technique to

address the alarming issue of global warming.

Father’s Day Celebration

“Your arms were always open when I needed a hug; Your heart understood when I needed a friend; Your

gentle eyes were stern when I needed a lesson; Your strength gave me wings so that I could learn to fly.”

Fathers play a pivotal role in nurturing a child. Bhagwan Mahavir International School, celebrated this

precious bond through classroom activities and special assembly. Pre-Primary learners made greeting card

by themselves, while primary & secondary learners gave dance performance, and speeches to show their

love for father.

Indeed, learners enjoyed & now they are looking forward to celebrate the same at home.
