o Machine Learning models are as smart & biased as the data given in training. Who controls the data? Who ensure fairness, accountability, transparency and trustworthiness?
o Machine learning trained models are assets with a high economical and social value. How can we guaranatee equitable access and benefit sharing?

o The new generation of information systems will support more efficient, participatory and inclusive data-driven scientific approaches in addressing challenges like food security, adaptation and resilience to climate changes and ecosystem management.
o To make it happen the global scientific community addressing Fishery Sustainability willhave not only to adopt the new technologies but also to identify appropriate sharedregulations, guidelines and best practices for Information Systems.
