LOOK AT WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO!Happy Days – This week we have continually watched the caterpillars change into a chrysalis (cocoon). It will take two weeks now until they become butterflies and we
can release them.
Nursery – We’ve had a lovely week this week in Nursery, learning all about our new season. We have learned about what we see, hear, smell and feel in spring. We have
sang some spring songs, listened and danced to some lovely relaxing spring music. Next week, we will read the story... ‘What ever next?” as the children have shown lots
of interest in rockets and space this week!
Orange – We have been watching our wonderful chicks growing and have noticed that they are beginning to get their wings! We have loved spending time with our
chicks and making sure that we keep them healthy and strong. We will be sad to see them leave us today, but they will have a lovely time at their new home.
We have performed our Mothers Day assembly to all our Mummy’s, Nanny’s, families and friends! We have also painted pictures, made daffodils and a lovely card for our
special person!
Red – This week in reception Twinkles, we have been having lots of fun with our growing little chicks. They are beginning to grow their feathers and move about lots
more! We have also been doing lots of fantastic art work in preparation for our Mother’s Day class assembly today! In maths we have been learning about
subtraction (take away). We have used lots of methods to help us solve word problems and answer number sentences!
