ARTICULATION AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER CURRICULA BETWEEN SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND BERKELEY COLLEGE MAY 2007 Berkeley College and Suffolk County Community College enter into this agreement in order to facilitate the transfer of students graduating from Suffolk County Community College to Berkeley College for the purpose of entering in the bachelors' degree programs in Business Administration (General Business), Accounting, and Marketing. This agreement enumerates the conditions and requirements for students to transfer to Berkeley College with minimum loss of credit. Subject to the terms of this agreement, a student who completes a Transfer Curriculum shown as part of this Agreement will be granted admission to Berkeley College. These students may complete the requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Berkeley College within two years or so, the amount of time being dependent upon the specific course credits transferred with a grade of C or better. The following terms and conditions shall apply: 1. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. 2. Berkeley College will accept transfer credits only, not course grades. 3. Students from Suffolk County Community College will be eligible to transfer to any of the Berkeley Campuses in New York and New Jersey, cognizant of the fact that Berkeley's New Jersey campuses offer B.S. degrees and New York campuses offer B.B.A. degrees in the programs specified in this agreement. 4. Associate Degree students from Suffolk County Community College transferring to Berkeley College will receive junior status in consideration for on-campus housing, wherever applicable and feasible. 5. Suffolk County Community College students participating in this transfer program will follow regulations and guidelines in this agreement and in the undergraduate bulletins at both Suffolk County Community College and Berkeley College. 6. Berkeley College and Suffolk County Community College will assure that appropriate personnel in their respective colleges are aware of the Agreement and are encouraged to support it. Such persons include admissions staff, counselors, career planning and placement officers, transfer coordinators, appropriate deans and faculty.

ARTICULATION AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER CURRICULABETWEEN

7. Berkeley College is on the quarter hour system, while Suffolk County CommunityCollege is on the "semester hour system". One credit hour for Berkeley isequivalent to 10-12 hours scheduled class time.

If any of the above terms and conditions are not met, Berkeley College shall determineappropriate transfer of credit and admission on an individual course basis.

Berkeley College will provide opportunities for meetings with students on the SuffolkCounty Community College campus to provide information and assistance in transferringto Berkeley College.

Faculty, staff, and administration of both colleges are encouraged to visit the campus ofeach institution. The Office of Admissions will supply Suffolk County CommunityCollege with promotional literature which, will be used to assist students with the transferprocess.

Changes and Cancellation:

This agreement will automatically renew unless personnel from Berkeley College andSuffolk County Community College determine that a meeting is necessary to reviewand/or amend this Agreement. The respective institutions will notify one another ofcurricular changes that impact the Agreement or as soon as the changes are approved.Either institution may terminate this Agreement at any time by written notice at least oneyear in advance of the effective date of termination.

Financials:

Because Berkeley realizes that educational costs are an important consideration whenselecting a college, Berkeley College offers protection from tuition increases to studentswho maintain continuous, full-time enrollment. In addition, Berkeley will offerscholarships to Suffolk County Community College associate degree graduates of up to$5000 per academic year.
