and Conditions, unless the context indicates to the contrary.

Responsible Gambling Policy, all of which are available on the NEDS website, www.neds.com.au.

1.3 Incorrect Betting Information

Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these Betting Rules, if NEDS publishes, posts or

quotes any incorrect Betting information on the Betting Platform for any sporting event or other

designated Betting event, such as posting wrong odds, dividends or lines, then regardless of the cause or

source of such error, the following shall apply:

(a) Error identified prior to the commencement of the event

If the error is identified prior to the commencement of the event and notified by NEDS to the

most recent Telephone or facsimile contact number or email address supplied by a Client, whose

Bet on that event has been accepted or confirmed by NEDS, such Bets will be void.

If the Bet is part of a multiple Bet, the Bet will then be re-calculated excluding the event to which

the error relates.

(b) Error identified after the commencement of the event

If the error is identified only after the commencement of the event or for any other reason not

notified to the Client's point of contact prior to commencement of the event, the Bet on the

Account or by placing a Bet with NEDS by Telephone or on the Betting Platform.

remainder of the Terms and Conditions. These are all available at www.neds.com.au .

Telephone or on the Betting Platform.

Platform in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

disputed or varied the details of the Bet as read back to you and the Operator has confirmed that the

Bet has been processed.

details have been used to access and use the Account, such Bets will be regarded by NEDS as having

been validly placed and authorised by the Client and valid and may not be changed, cancelled or

modified unless so agreed by an authorised representative of NEDS.

1.6.5 In the event of complete system failure where NEDS cannot immediately record Bets in its systems,

NEDS may at its discretion continue to take Bets from customers, manually record those Bets at the time

they are taken and enter the customer's Bets into the NEDS system when the system failure has been

rectified and the system is fully operational.

1.6.6 In the event of any loss of connection Between the Client and NEDS during the placement of a Bet

and no Betting reference number has been issued, it is the Client’s responsibility to contact NEDS to re-

confirm the Bet. NEDS accepts no responsibility for any Bets where a Betting reference number has

not been issued.

of its systems.

amount, you agree that we shall only be obliged to pay to you the win limit or maximum payout

1.10 Privacy

1.10.1 NEDS operates in accordance with the NEDS Privacy Policy, which forms part of the Terms and

Conditions. The Privacy Policy is available for viewing at the Website.

1.10.2 NEDS will make a recording of all Telephone conversations with Clients, including any conversations

related to the placement of Bets, disputes and account queries.

1.10.3 NEDS will make records of all Betting Platform transactions with Clients.

1.10.4 The Client agrees to these recordings being made and accepts that they may not be notified each time a

recording is made. In the event of a dispute, the Client agrees that the relevant Telephone recordings

and/or any records of Betting Platform transactions may be made available to any relevant regulatory

agencies, in particular the NT Racing Commission, to enable the dispute to be determined in accordance

with these Betting Rules.

1.10.5 Australia governing sporting bodies are organisations charged with the administration of thoroughbred

horse racing, harness racing and greyhound racing throughout Australia. Where a Client has opened an

Account, NEDS reserves the right to provide Australian governing sports bodies which make a request

with:

(a) records or documents in the possession or control of NEDS (excluding bank account details, credit

card details and government identifiers) relating to Betting transactions of the Client; and

(b) the names, contact details and similar identifying information in the possession or

control of NEDS relating to Clients who have entered into Betting transaction(s).

1.10.6 Such information will only be provided to assist in a legitimate inquiry conducted by the Australia

governing sporting body to maintain the integrity of the sport.

1.10.7 For the avoidance of doubt, the Client consents to NEDS providing the above information to any

Australian governing sporting body.

1.11 Dispute Resolution

1.11.1 If any dispute cannot be settled satisfactorily between NEDS and the Client, the Client can refer the

dispute to an authorised representative of the NT Racing Commission at [email protected]

for their final determination.

1.11.2 NEDS will not adjust any Bets until a decision has been made by an authorised representative of the NT

Racing Commission.

2. NEDS GENERAL BETTING RULES

2.1 Bets will generally be accepted up to the official starting time of an event. NEDS may in its absolute

discretion, accept or reject a Bet placed after the start of an event. A Bet may be deemed void, if it is

submitted after the official starting time of an event, unless it is a Live In-Play Bet.

2.2 Except in the case of a Live In-Play event, if an event commences before the scheduled time, only Bets

placed before the actual start of the event will be considered valid.

2.3 Unless a Specific Betting Rule states otherwise:

(a) where an event or match is postponed and rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the

original scheduled starting time of the event or match, all Bets will stand;

(b) where an event or match is abandoned prior to commencing or where an event is postponed and

rescheduled to take place more than 48 hours after the original scheduled starting time, all Bets

will be void and refunded to the Client’s account.

2.4 NEDS reserves the right to resettle an event where an error has occurred with the resulting process or

the dividends declared. Where the resettlement is carried out 24 hours or more after the initial

settlement, customers will be notified by email.

2.5 If a Bet is void at any time, affected multiple Bets will be recalculated excluding that leg.

2.6 The winner of an event or game shall be determined on the date of the event’s conclusion in accordance

with the event’s rules and regulations. We shall not recognize suspended games, protests or overturned

decisions for wagering purposes.

2.7 If a match is abandoned before full time has been played, Bets on the match outcome will be void,

unless an official result is declared. Bets on all markets which have been unconditionally determined will

stand, for example in Soccer, First Goal Scorer Bets will stand if a goal has been scored. The meaning of

‘full time’ is determined by Clause 4 – Sports Betting. Unless otherwise stated, overtime periods shall

be counted as follows:

(a) On all Under/Over (totals) Bets, overtime periods shall be counted in the final score.

(b) On all half-time Bets, overtime periods shall be counted as included in the second half.

2.8 Unless otherwise stated, in instances where a match is called off while in progress, or the outcome is

postponed to a later date, the official result, if any, declared by the Sporting Event’s Controlling Body

will be used to determine the settlement of Bets placed on the outcome of an event. Any events that

have been decided prior to the calling off or postponement of the event shall stand.

2.9 Multiple Bets shall not be accepted where the outcome of one part of the Bet contributes to the

outcome of another. If a Client inadvertently or deliberately takes a related contingency in a multiple

Bet, the Bet shall be deemed void, and the stakes returned.

2.10 Any multiple Bet made up of more than one selection from the same event shall be deemed a related

contingency, except Bets placed on Baseball, American Football, Basketball and Hockey where sides and

totals make up a multiple Bet.

2.11 Any multiple Bet involving the same team or its players, or the same selection will be deemed a related

contingency.

2.12 Enhanced Prices for Multiple Bets. In cases where we offer an enhanced price for multiple Bets, such as

doubles or trebles, any non-runners will be treated as void selections. For example, a treble with a non-

runner will be settled as a double on the remaining selections. The prices for the remaining selections

will be based on the advertised prices and not the enhanced odds.

2.13 In the event of an event being offered for which we do not currently have specific rules, we will

undertake to provide relevant trading terms and conditions at that time.

2.15 Determining the Result

2.15.1 In the case of all sports (except as stated in Sports Specific Rules) and all other contests that involve a

set length of play or time limit, players must play and the event must run to the conclusion of the

designated time to be considered official for Betting purposes.

2.15.2 Overtime periods or extra time in all sports shall count towards the final result for the match except in

relation to any stated Sports Specific Rules.

2.15.3 Dead Heats and/or Draws. In any competition where the draw is not offered as an explicit 3 way option

(excluding Baseball, American Football, Basketball and Ice Hockey, Golfing Head to Heads, Boxing and

MMA/UFC) any Bets placed on a drawn event shall be resulted in accordance with dead heat rules:

(a) Full face value of the ticket (stake + payout) divided by the number of the dead heat count. For

example, a Bet on Australia vs. New Zealand in Rugby Union, $100 on Australia @ 1.90 would

return $95.

(b) Dead heats or Draws in Baseball, American Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Golfing Head to

Heads and Boxing and MMA/UFC will be deemed to be a "push" (full refund of stake).

2.15.4 In the event of a Dead Heat or Draw, where such an option was not offered for Betting purposes, the

ticket will be paid out at face value divided by the number of dead heating competitors of the event

(The Dead Heat Rule).

2.15.5 For multiple Bets, if any leg/legs are void, the multiple Bet will be recalculated excluding the voided

leg/legs.

2.15.6 Unless otherwise agreed by a duly authorised NEDS Sports Betting Officer and the customer at the time

of making the Bet, Bets on sporting events will be settled on the official or podium positions as per the

adjudication of the relevant, recognised governing body. Subsequent disqualification, promotion of

competitors, or any other change is irrelevant for the purposes of determining the result of the

approved sporting event.

2.16 Transfers, Abandonments, withdrawals

2.16.1 Subject to specific Betting Rules set out in Clause 3 below:

(a) Where a race meeting is transferred from one racecourse to another, all Betting Rules will apply

as if the meeting was not transferred.

(b) If a race is abandoned then all live Bets on that race will be cancelled and monies refunded,

subject to NEDS Betting Rules for specific Bet types.

(c) If a race is postponed then all Bets placed after the final field has been declared for that race are

cancelled and monies refunded, subject to NEDS Betting Rules for specific Bet types. All Bets

placed before final field stage will stand.

(d) In the event of a horse being withdrawn late by order of the Stewards, all Bets will be paid as

directed by the officiating Stewards from that meeting direct including Deductions on remaining

runners.

2.17 Cancellation of a Bet

2.17.1 No Bet may be cancelled, changed, or modified by you, in any way or form, once it is has been received

and accepted by us.

2.17.2 In the event that a line or price is put up in obvious error due to a human error by an employee, any

customer Bets entered to take advantage of such error will be void.

2.17.3 In the event of a system malfunction, all Bets are void.

2.17.4 We reserve the right to refuse any Bet prior to its acceptance.

at that point).

(b) A player is deemed to have made the cut if the player is eligible to play in the round after the cut

is made (even if the player chooses not to do so). If a player is not eligible to do so (even if the

rules for the cut have been changed during the tournament) that player is deemed to have

missed the cut.

the best score wins. Holes played in a round that is subsequently abandoned, or for any reason

not counted towards the result of the tournament, do not count.

4.9.12 In the event of double-headers in the Australian Baseball League (ABL), all Game #1 are 7 inning games and are priced and settled accordingly.

4.9.13 If the first game of a double header goes to extra innings, causing the second game to be shortened to less than the scheduled 9 innings as a result, all bets on the run line and total market for the second game will be void. All head to head bets on the second game will still stand

this quote. Push rules apply.

4.9.15 Where a specified player is listed under a market pertaining to a certain league/team, he will be deemed a player in that team/league for the purpose of the result regardless of any inter-league/team trade which may occur.

4.10 BASKETBALL

4.10.1 Payouts will be based on the official final score, extra time (an extension of normal time) included,

unless otherwise specified.

4.10.2 Games are official after the scheduled completion of play.

4.10.3 If a game is abandoned, postponed by more than forty eight (48) hours, or fails to meet the above

criteria, single Bets are void and refunded. Multiple Bets (parlays) will be recalculated excluding that leg.

4.10.4 Player Regular Season Specials and Match Bets A named player must meet the relevant qualifying criteria below for Bets to stand, otherwise Bets on

that player will be made void.

(a) Total points/rebounds/assists/steals/blocks/fouls/turnovers/3-point field goals - player must play in at least 10 regular season games

(d) Average 3-point percentage - player must make at least 80 3-point field goals during the season to be eligible

All averages will be rounded to 1 decimal point for settlement purposes.

4.10.5 Group Bets

Group Bets such as which of this group of players will score the most points, can finish with two or more

players winning in a dead-heat. In this case dead-heat rules will apply, e.g. if you placed an each way Bet

and the terms quoted are for the first three places, we will treat two Groups tying for third place as

having dead heated for third place. We will then settle with 1/2 stake lost and 1/2 stake settled at full

place odds for each-way Bets on those Groups.

4.10.6 Grand Salami The 'Grand Salami' will be decided by adding up all the scores by the games scheduled for that particular

day. All games must be completed for Bets to stand, points scored in overtime are included. 4.10.7 Player props (assists/points/rebounds) Player prop markets are inclusive of any overtime played and are settled on official results supplied by

the governing body, eg. The NBA. Player must take the court at any time for Bets to stand.

4.10.8 European and International Basketball

Regular time is 40 minutes play. Bets will be settled according to the official result as declared by the European basketball governing body. Unless stated otherwise, overtime counts for all markets except Win-Draw-Win Match Betting and those that are quarter or half specific. Where a fixture is played over 2 legs (e.g. home and away in the Eurocup latter stages) the 1st leg result will be settled on the 40 minute score. In the 2nd leg, the result will be settled on the 40 minute score, except where the scores both the 1st and 2nd legs are tied and the 2nd leg goes into overtime, then overtime will count. If the 2nd leg score is not tied, but overtime is played due to each team having won one leg in the fixture, overtime will not count. If the game is abandoned for any reason before play is completed, then all Bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared then all Bets stand. Any subsequent amendments to the official result will be ignored for settlement purposes.

4.11 BOXING

4.11.1 Where a match is abandoned or postponed, but fought within 14 days of the original scheduled date, all

Bets stand.

4.11.2 Once the 14 days have expired, all single Bets are void and Bets refunded. Affected multiple Bets will be

recalculated excluding that leg.

4.11.3 All Bets on either boxer to win will be decided by the judges’ decision, which includes points, technical

knockout (TKO), knockout (KO) or disqualification.

4.11.4 Draw or technical draw. Draw is scorecard draw. Technical draw is if the referee stops the fight due to

an accidental injury or foul, before the required number of rounds have been completed for the fight

to be decided on the judges scorecards (otherwise known as a technical decision). In the event of a

draw when the draw option is not offered, the Dead Heat Rule will apply.

4.11.5 In round-by-round Betting, if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in

the previous round.

4.11.6 For all Bets on a boxer to win on points, the full scheduled number of rounds must take place for the

Bets to be deemed winners.

4.11.7 If the scheduled number of rounds is changed all ‘pick the round’ Bets are void and Bets refunded.

4.11.8 The official stopping of a round before the sounding of the bell does not constitute a full round. A full

round is only considered for Betting purposes to have been completed when the bell sounds signifying

the end of the round.

4.11.9 Tournament Betting. Any fighter starting the tournament, who has to withdraw from the event due to

injury will be deemed a loser.

4.12 MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA) / ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP (UFC)

4.12.1 The result as declared at the end of a fight by the official announcer will be used for settlement

purposes. Any subsequent alterations to that result will not be taken into account unless the alteration

was made due to human error when announcing the result. If the official announcer does not declare a

result at the end of a fight, the market will be settled on the result displayed on the applicable

organisation's official site. If a fight results in a draw, the Fight Result will be deemed void and all stakes

returned, this includes a fight which ends in a “majority draw”.

4.12.2 If a bout does not take place within 48 hours of the given date and time, it will be deemed void and all

stakes will be returned. Fights deemed to be "No Contest" or "No Decision" will have all markets settled

as void.

4.12.3 Future Fights. The one exception to the 48 hour rule above, is fights set up under the Future Fights sub-

type. These fights have been set up before the exact date is known and will be reclassified under the

correct event and date, once an official announcement has been made. These fights will only be voided

if either fighter is scheduled to fight another opponent instead. Once a fight has been reclassified, it is

then subject to the 48 hour rule as normal.

4.12.4 Change to scheduled number of rounds. All outright Bets on the match will stand. However, round by

round Bets will be void.

4.12.5 Round Betting. Betting on the round in which the fight result will be determined. If a fight is stopped

before the full number of rounds have been completed, or if a fighter is disqualified and a points

decision is awarded, Bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was stopped.

4.12.6 Total Rounds. If a fight is stopped before the full number of rounds have been completed, or if a fighter

is disqualified and a points decision is awarded, Bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was

stopped. For settlement purposes where a half round is stated then 2 minutes 30 seconds of the

respective round will define the ‘half’ to determine under or over. Should the round end exactly on this

time then affected Bets will be made void.

4.12.7 Failure to come out for a round. If a fighter fails to come out for the next round, Bets will be settled on

his opponent having won the bout in the previous round.

4.12.8 UFC Card Specials. Only the main card, and the undercard fights will count. Early preliminaries will not

be included. Bets will stand on the number of bouts scheduled to be on the full card, which includes all

main card and undercard fights. This information will be available in the market descriptions for the

event in question.

Bets will stand so long as the exact number of bouts quoted in the market description take place. If any

fighter(s) withdraw(s), and all are (is) replaced, Bets will stand. If a bout is cancelled without a

replacement, changing the number of bouts taking place, then all Bets will be void.

Dead heat rules will apply to the Fight of The Night, Submission of The Night and Knockout of The Night

markets should two or more fights or fighters be awarded the honours.

4.12.9 Stoppages. If the fight is stopped due to an injury or disqualification, either by the referee or the doctor,

then this will be considered a technical knockout (TKO). If the fight is stopped early due to damage

sustained from an illegal attack, or an accidental clash of heads etc, then a technical decision may be

awarded. In this instance, the time of the stoppage would be used to settle all round markets, but the

result of the decision would be used to settle the ‘Decision Victories’ market. If the judges aren’t able to

award a technical decision then the fight may be declared a ‘No Contents’, and all Bets will be void. ‘No

Contests’ awarded after the fight due to a failed drug test will not be resettled, and will stand as

originally declared after the fight. A technical submission may occur when the referee stops the fight

because a fighter has sustained an injury, or become unconscious, while in a submission hold. For

Betting purposes, all technical submissions will be settled as submissions.

4.13 AMERICAN FOOTBALL

4.13.1 Payouts will be based on the official final score, including extra time (an extension of normal time).

Games are official at the completion of play.

4.13.2 For first half markets, Bets relate solely to the score in the first half. The first half must be completed for

such Bets to stand.

4.13.3 For second half markets, Bets relate solely to the score in the second half (including any extra time, i.e.

an extension of normal time).

4.13.4 The second half must have five minutes or less remaining at the conclusion of the match, for such Bets

to stand.

4.13.5 If a match is abandoned before the end of a game (including during overtime) all Bets will be void,

unless 55 minutes of play has taken place or an official result is 'called by the American Football

governing body'. All other markets will be void except for those which have been unconditionally

determined (for example First Touchdown Scorer Bets will stand if a touchdown has been scored).

4.13.6 Mythical Matches Matches involve two teams playing in those relevant weeks NFL fixtures. Results are dependent on

team’s individual scores in their respective fixtures against that of the mythical weekends opponent. The official governing body determines scores, in the event of a game not fully completed Bets are void for that respective mythical match. All scores include any overtime played, singles only.

4.13.7 NFL Draft All Bets on NFL Draft markets will be settled on the official draft order listed on nfl.com. For the

purposes of over/under markets, undrafted players will be assigned a number one above that of the last draft pick.

Mr Irrelevant is the term given to the last player selected in the draft. The term ‘specialist’ refers to kickers, punters and long snappers only, and does not include kickoff or punt returners.

The ‘Last Player Left in the Green Room’ market will be settled based on the last player drafted, from

those who were invited to attend the draft in the Green Room, and is not based on the last person to physically leave the room. Player Positions - Pre-draft players are assigned to one playing position by NEDS based on their probably playing position. The position that players are listed as on nfl.com and the position that they played in College are irrelevant, as these can often change and final positions are not decided until a player reaches their destination team. Once a position assignment has been made by NEDS it is final. Others may be added to the market upon request, as long as they are not already assigned to another position.

4.14 ICE HOCKEY

4.14.1 Head to Head (Money Line), 2 way handicaps (Lines) and Totals Betting includes overtime and penalty

shootouts. In the case of a penalty shootout only one (1) goal will be awarded to the winning team.

Odd/Even Totals also include overtime.

4.14.2 All 3 way match markets are resulted on the score at the end of regular time. When the draw option is

included, payouts are based on the score at the end of normal time (extra time, i.e. an extension of

normal time, is not included).

4.14.3 'Pick the score' Betting is based on the score at the end of normal time (i.e. extra time - an extension of

normal time - is not included).

4.14.4 If a game is abandoned prior to completion, or postponed by more than forty eight(48) hours, all single

Bets are void and Bets refunded. Affected multiple Bets will be recalculated excluding that leg. Bets will

not be void for the markets where the outcome has already been determined at the time of

abandonment.

4.14.5 In 'Grand Salami Betting', all of the day's games set down for decision must reach their official

conclusion, or Bets are void. The exception being that if the total is exceeded without all games being

played to their official conclusion then Bets will stand.

4.15 MOTOR RACING

4.15.1 Podium placing determines the standings for the settlement of Bets. Classified/Not Classified is paid

based on whether the driver has been 'classified' by the ruling body. (See FIA Rules 166-169). Post-

Podium, NEDS does not recognise overturned decisions for Betting purposes.

4.15.2 In match-ups or group Betting, those drivers must line up on the official starting grid for Bets to stand.

The official starting grid is the grid after the warm up lap.

positions for the final listed event are known. Post-podium, NEDS does not recognise overturned

decisions for Betting purposes.

4.15.4 For head-to-head Betting, both drivers must line up on the official starting grid for Bets to stand.

same lap, the match up will be deemed a tie.

4.15.5 For 1st retirement Bets, if more than one (1) driver retires on the same lap number, the Dead Heat Rule

applies.

count for settlement purposes.

podium presentation of the final event of the championship. This will not be affected by any enquiries

which then take place.

If any team or player name is misspelled, all Bets will still stand unless it is obvious it is the wrong selection.
