We are a statewide non-profit membership organization founded in 1981.

Celebrating 30th Anniversary! Our purpose is to strengthen the network

of people working to end domestic violence in North Carolina.

We provide support services to local domestic violence programs and allied professionals across the state.

To create social change through the elimination of the individual,

institutional, and cultural oppressions that contribute to

domestic violence.

Advocates to improve statewide policies and legislation to positively impact the lives of survivors of domestic violence and their children.

Monitors federal legislation and works with NNEDV to support National Lobby Day each year.

Contracts with a lobbyist.

Attorney General’s Office Governor’s Crime Commission Council for Women Domestic Violence Commission NC Coalition Against Sexual Assault Legal Aid of NC NC Justice Center Sheriffs’ Association Conference of District Attorneys NC Victims Assistance Network Prevent Child Abuse NC
