This is our first year having a 5th and 6th grade Beta Club

161 new members were inducted this year in 5th – 8th grades

Beta Club Induction was held at Landrum High School on February 23rd at 6:00 p.m. and we had a huge crowd – approximately 500 people were in attendance

CELEBRATING BETA WEEK STUDENTS IN SERVICE

Approximately 40 7th and 8th grade students volunteered their time to keep the campus of CGS clean Tuesday afternoon.

Another 40 5th and 6th graders have volunteered to weed the flower beds Thursday afternoon

One Jr. Beta Club member has been selected from each grade level to be recognized for outstanding scholarship

5th Grade: Abby Campuzano Abby’s teachers had this to say about her:

assignments. He takes the time to think things through and goes above and beyond what is required. He is a great kid and we are excited to honor him with this award.”

what is required. In her quest for knowledge, she wants to ensure that she fully understands content. This proves her intrinsic motivation to excel.”
