Already well into rehearsals for the Princes Theatre premiere of the international hit show, WICKED is a visual masterpiece with hundreds of costumes and hats created to transform the cast into the citizens of Oz. From angry mobsters to school students, goats to monkeys and princess gowns to witches wardrobes, Victoria Horne’s costumes (CLOC Musical Theatre) are all truly exquisite and have been seen in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra productions of WICKED, and will exclusively be seen in Tasmania in Encore’s production at the Princess Theatre, Launceston.

There’s nothing like the electric experience of seeing a major Broadway show and hearing the live

performers on the stage and in the orchestra. You can see the results of all the hard work and years of

Schwartz’s powerful score (and William David Brohn’s exquisite orchestrations) alive. We can’t wait for

this year’s Christmas Parade in Launceston, winning Best Corporate Float!

With a fun design by James Walker (who recently designed the BUDDY set for Encore),

the Heritage Isle family enjoyed spreading some Christmas cheer in Launceston and
