Simple Migration to 10.0 (on VM) via Prime Collaboration Deployment
• PCD = Prime Collaboration Deployment • New (FREE) tool in 10.0 (replaces PAWS-M)
• What does it do? • Cluster-wide and multi-cluster upgrade/reboot
• Installs, migrations, IP/hostname change management, file staging and notifications
• Supported from 6.1+ (on MCS or VM), to 10.0 on VM only
• Customer / partner benefits = bring joy back to migrations ☺ • No multi-hop SW upgrades: single-step from 6.1+ to 10.0
• Single-step MCS to VM or VM to VM • No “deadnet” or “can’t clone my system” … in-place or to new system
while keeping or changing your old IP/hostnames • Removes most of the “process” issues with CUCM migrations
• Enhancements exposed to CDN developers
