Information TechnologyThis has been tried out on pilot basis at MB/Div for A/c’s staff.

Incorporation of provision of biometric attendance register.

Human ResourcesIntensive foot to foot survey was carried out, of railway land transferred from IZN/NER. to MB/NR. and during this it was discovered that approx- 164 Shops exist over this rly land. Rent and Arrears are being recovered from them.

Human ResourcesAll sanitation contracts at NDLS station

and all over NR. Rly have been suitably amended to incorporate provision of ensuring payment through bank.

In all labour contracts over NR.deduction of ESI & EPF is being ensured. (Incorporated in the Spl. Conditions of the contract)

Human ResourcesAll payments (like PF, Settlement dues, Contractor payments etc) are being made through RTGS/Cheques.

On the suggestion of finance released solar panels from S&T department were utilized by the Electrical department for electrification of almost 30 level crossings on MB Div.

Human Resources Progressively all salary tours(4 in all conventionally) are being merged into a single salary tour.

UMB/Div has already merged 3 of its 4 salary tours(HQ,A&B).

MB/Div is going to merge A & B tours.
