Meals: In-Flight Day 2 | Arrive in Oslo Today we will arrive in the picturesque city of Oslo. Known for its green spaces, arts, and culture, there will be plenty to see and experience. After clearing customs we will board a deluxe motorcoach and take a short tour of this capital city. Afterwards, we’ll transfer to our hotel to relax. is evening we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner with the group. Meals: D Day 3 | Oslo Touring is morning we continue touring Oslo with a local guide. We’ll pass the medieval Akershus Fortress from the 13th century, the City Hall, Royal Palace, Parliament, and more. One highlight will be Aker Brygge – once a ship’s wharf, it is today a pedestrian area with shops, restaurants, and cultural activities. We’ll also make a stop at the Vigeland Sculpture Park, one of Norway’s most-visited attractions with over 200 stone, bronze, and cast iron sculptures. Our final stop will be the famous Viking Ship Museum, home to the best-preserved Viking ship on display. is was discovered across three royal burial mounds by the Osloord. e evening will be at your leisure to continue exploring this beautiful city. Meals: B Day 4 | Oslo / Lillehammer / Gala Our morning starts with a scenic drive to Eidsvoll, the site where the Norwegian Constitution was signed in 1814. Afterwards, our journey continues north through the town of Hamar. Upon arrival in Lillehammer, we’ll visit the spectacular Maihaugen museum. With close to 200 buildings, this museum is one of Europe’s largest open-air museums. Tonight, we’ll relax in Gala at a hotel overlooking a stunning lake. Day 5 | Gala / Geiranger The astounding scenery continues as we travel north to the fjord village of Geiranger. Our driver will include hairpin bends to the summit of Mount Dalsnibba for incredible views of Geirangerfjord and the mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. After arriving in Geiranger, we’ll get our first up-close look at Norway’s most dramatic fjord. A UNESCO site, this fjord measures 10 miles long and 960 feet deep. Meals: B, D

Day 6 | Geiranger Fjord Center / Scenic CruiseThis morning we’ll visit the Geiranger Fjord Center and learn about the local history and nature. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a scenic cruise of the Geirangerfjord by RIB boat to get close to the famous waterfalls. This afternoon, learn how to make goat milk caramel at Herdalssetra Farm. Tonight will be a relaxing evening in Geiranger. Meals: B, D

Day 7 | Briksdal Glacier / BalestrandWe’ll travel south this morning and ascend the spectacular Geiranger hairpin road. Continue to Briksdal and enjoy the troll car ride to see the Briksdal Glaciers. After a scenic drive, we’ll arrive in the quaint village of Fjaerland. More beauty awaits on our drive along the Sognefjord as we travel to Balestrand. Meals: B, L, D

Day 8 | Balestrand Touring / Cider House Today we’ll enjoy a tour of Balestrand with a local guide. Highlights will include a Viking burial site and wooden church along the fjord. We’ll also visit the Cider House and learn how to bake a local cake, Helekake, on a griddle while enjoying locally produced cider and juice. This afternoon will be at our leisure to enjoy this historic village. Meals: B Day 9 | Flam Mountain Railway / Bergen Depart Balestrand this morning and travel to Vangsnes where we’ll visit Hopperstad Stave Church. This afternoon, we’ll enjoy the scenic scenery as we take a ferry from Gundvangen to Flam. After disembarking from this unforgettable cruise, board the Flam Mountain Railway for an hour-long, scenic ride descending 2,600 feet. We’ll pass through 20 tunnels, see thundering waterfalls, and gaze up at towering mountains. Our day ends in Bergen where we’ll relax this evening. Meals: B

Day 10 | Bryggen Wharf Area / Hanseating Museum Walk through the scenic village of Bergen this morning with a local guide where we’ll visit the Bryggen wharf area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in addition to the Hanseatic Museum. This afternoon will be at our leisure to continue exploring this incredible city. Tonight we’ll enjoy our final Norwegian meal as we reflect on Norway’s beauty. Meals: B, L, D Day 11 | Travel Home This morning our journey through Norway will come to an end. We’ll travel to the Bergen airport where our flight home awaits. As we fly home, we’ll reflect on the unforgettable and distinct beauty of Norway. Meals: B

Trip Cancellation (International & Cruises): With the purchase of the Landmark Tours Guest Protection, you may cancel for a medical reason and receive a full refund of tour payments as long as we are notified one day before your tour departs.

Trip InterruptionIf you must leave the tour early due to personal illness, or the illness or death of an immediate family member, you will receive a refund of any unused portions of the package. Handling of return air transportation is included if tickets were provided by Landmark Tours as a part of the package.

ExclusionsLandmark Tours reserves the right to alter its Refund and Cancellation Policy when a significant amount of cancellation or interruption of travel are due to conditions caused by an act of God, civil disorder, government action, outbreak of disease man made or natural disasters, fire, war, unavailability of services or transportation through no fault of Landmark Tours. Should such a rare exclusion ever be made, those passengers who purchased the Guest Protection Plan will be issued credit valid for use on any Landmark Tours package that departs within one year of original tour registration.
