Day 1 ‐ Saturday March 16Depart USA to Tel Aviv.Today you will embark on the journey of a lifetime as you beginyour pilgrimage to The Holy Land. Meals served in flight.

Day 2 – Sunday March 17Arrive Tel Aviv | Overnight NetanyaYour friendly NTS representative will meet you at baggage claimand escort you to your transfer for a delicious dinner and a goodnight’s rest.

Day 3 – Monday March 18Caesarea Maritima | View Mt. Carmel | Megiddo | NazarethVillage | Cana | Tiberias | Optional Galilee Experience in theEveningAfter your delicious buffet breakfast, you will travel to CaesareaMaritima on the Mediterranean coastline. It was here thatCornelius the Centurion and his household were saved andbaptized (Acts 10), and it was also where Paul made his defensebefore Festus and King Agrippa prior to his final journey to Rome(Acts 25 & 26). This site reveals extensive remains of the theatreand other fascinating engineering of this ancient port city –including the Roman Aqueduct. Continue your journey throughthe plains of Armageddon to Megiddo. From here, view Mt.Carmel where Elijah defeated the priests of Baal (1 Kings 18). Itwas here in Megiddo that Solomon and other Israeli kings had amajor center for commerce and military protection. Explore theNazareth Village, a living presentation of the boyhood home,life and times of Jesus (Luke 2). Recall Jesus’ first miracle as youpass though Cana. After a full day of touring you’ll be ready foranother delightful buffet dinner and overnight in your hotel inthe region of Tiberias. After dinner at the hotel, you may opt totake a visit to the Galilee Experience where 4000 years of historywill come alive before your eyes in a luxurious theater complexalong the Tiberias Waterfront.

Day 4 – Tuesday – March 19Ancient Boat | Magdala | Mt. of Beatitudes | Capernaum |Tabgha | Fish Lunch | Boat RideAt Kibbutz Nof Ginosar, you’ll learn about the “Ancient Boat,”a rare example of the kind of boat in which Jesus would havesailed. Walk the excavations of the town of Magdala, connectedwith Mary Magdalene. Look upon the fields where Jesus taughtat the Mount of the Beatitudes (Matt. 5‐7). A beautiful chapelhas been built here to commemorate these precious words oftruth. Travel to Capernaum and stand in the ruins of thesynagogue built on the remains of the one in which Jesus taught.See the excavations that include where Peter's house is thought

to have been located. Stop at Tabgha, where the feeding of the5000 is remembered at the Church of the Loaves and Fish (Luke9) After a traditional St. Peter’s fish lunch, enjoy a beautiful boatride and time of worship as you sail as Jesus did across the Seaof Galilee.

Day 5 – Wednesday – March 20Chorazim | Caesarea Philippi | Dan | Nimrod’s Fortress (Mt. Hermon) | Golan Heights – Mt. Bental | Peace Overlook Today, start your travels with a visit to the excavations of thebiblical town of Chorazim, listed as a “city of woe” by Jesus(Matt. 11). Continue on into the Northern Region of Israel andvisit Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus traveled with His disciplesand where Peter made his great confession to Jesus, "Thou artthe Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matt. 16:16). You will alsovisit the ancient remains of Tel Dan and the altar built by KingJeroboam I (I Kings 12:25‐30). This area is one of the ancientboundary markers for Israel “from Dan to Beersheba”. VisitNimrod’s Fortress on the slopes of Mt. Hermon and continue onthrough the Golan Heights to the top of Mt. Bental. Overlookinto Syria and the valley of tears and better understand thestrategic importance of this region to the security of Israel. Yourfinal stop today will be the Peace Overlook (Mitza Hashalom)where you can take in a breathtaking view of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 6 – Thursday – March 21 Beit Shean | Jordan Valley | Masada | Qumran | Dead Sea |Jerusalem Overlook Today you say goodbye to the Sea of Galilee and begin yourjourney south to Jerusalem. As your motor coach takes youthrough the Jordan Valley, visit the magnificent excavations ofBeit Shean, a city continuously inhabited for over 5,000 years,including when the Philistines hung the bodies of King Saul andhis sons from its walls (1 Sam. 31). Later known as Scythopolis,the ruins of this once‐opulent Roman city still impress visitorswith its city streets, marble sidewalks, Roman public baths, andtheater. Enjoy a visit to intriguing Masada, the spectacularmountaintop fortress built by Herod that later became the finaltragic stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans.Ride the cable car to the top to explore the fortress and lookdown upon the remains of the Roman camps and siege rampbelow. Walk the remains of an ancient community near theshores of the the Dead Sea, at Qumran. In the caves near here,Bedouins discovered what became known as the Dead SeaScrolls. Begin your ascent into Jerusalem. Take in a breathtakingview of the Holy City before heading on to enjoy your dinner andovernight.

Day 7 – Friday – March 22Mt. of Olives | Palm Sunday Road | Garden of Gethsemane | ViaDolorosa | Pool of Bethesda | Sisters of Zion Church | Church of theHoly SepulcherView the panoramic splendor of the Holy City from the top of theMount of Olives. Walk down the Palm Sunday Road and take sometime to pray as Jesus did among the olive trees in the Garden ofGethsemane (John 18). Walk the Via Dolorosa “the Way of theCross” and reflect on His sacrificial love. View the Pool of Bethesda(John 5) where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle. Visit theLithostrotos at the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. This area ofpavement constructed with large slabs is associated with thecondemnation of Jesus by Pilate (John 19). The pavement also has aRoman “King’s Game” board carved into it to use for a dice game thatrecalls the casting of lots for Jesus’ clothing after His crucifixion.Stand in reverence at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, built on thetraditional site of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus.

Day 8 – Saturday – March 23Western Wall | Southern Wall Excavations | Upper Room | KingDavid’s Tomb | Garden Tomb | Gordon’s Calvary.Spend time this morning at the Western or “Wailing” Wall, a sectionof Herod’s Temple Mount retaining wall adjacent to the former Holyof Holies. Visit the Southern Wall Excavations of the ancient Temple,including the Teaching Steps. On the slopes of Mt. Zion, stand in theUpper Room, revered as the place of the Last Supper (Mark 14). Viewthe traditional site of King David’s Tomb. Consider the pain and agonyof Christ’s crucifixion as you view Gordon’s Calvary and celebrate thepower of His resurrection with a special communion service at theGarden Tomb.

Day 9 – Sunday – March 24Optional Morning Touring | Joppa | Valley of Elah | Freshen up |Transfer to Airport This morning you’ll have the option to either explore the poignantexhibits of Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial, and continue onto the Israel Museum to view the Model City and Shrine of the Book.Or, you may opt to spend a leisurely morning at your hotel roomabsorbing all the fascinating sites you have seen so far.This afternoon, you’ll say farewell to Jerusalem and begin yourtransfer to Tel Aviv via the Valley of Elah, where David defeatedGoliath (1 Sam. 17). Enjoy a driving tour of Biblical Joppa, now the portcity of Jaffa. Jonah fled the call of The Lord here (Jonah 1).
