Their goal is to lessen wait times and lines for their guests and season pass holders, and to ensure the guest experience is as smooth as possible both at the sales stations and at the turnstiles.

US WATER P A R K S READY FOR BUSY 2012 S E A S O N

It’s the time of year when waterparks across the US are gearing up for their 2012 openings, and all are hoping to have record-breaking seasons! OmniTicket Network has been eager to support our waterpark clients during this hectic period. Our staff has visited client sites such as Water World in Hyland Hills Colorado and Wet n’ Wild Phoenix to install new equipment, upgrade software and help these valued clients prepare for a busy and successful summer.

Over at Water World, which is listed as one of Forbes coolest waterparks in America, they have enhanced their visitor’s experience this year by offering innovative add-ons, such as the Early Entry option that allows guests to enter the park in advance of the general opening.

OmniTicket Network’s BOS Summit 2012 was geared toward future BOS users. This greatly anticipated event was held May 7-10, 2012 at the OmniTicket Network o f f i c e s i n O r l a ndo , Florida, and included an introduction to all aspects of the Best Overview System (BOS).

The summit’s agenda also included planning sessions for client sites wanting to find out more about migrating to BOS, and provided remote evaluation access to the BOS test system after the event.

The volume of online tickets sales managed through OmniTicket Network USA’s Web solution showed an impressive increase during 2011 and the upward trend is continuing into the first quarter of 2012.

The great American animation movies have arrived at Mantua's Palazzo Te, wh i c h p r e s en t s a s e r i e s o f international works already proudly displayed in various parts of the world.

But what is the underlying success of the masterpieces of animated films such as Monster & Co (2001), Toy Story (1, 2 and 3), Ratatouille (2007), WALL • E (2008), Up (2009 ) and Cars 2 (2011)?

Well, those who think it is the extraordinary technological tools made available to Pixar by Steve Jobs may be disappointed.

These factors make Best Un ion a synonym o f safety and rel iabi l i ty within the international market.

The recent decision by Viagogo UK, one of England’s main online secondary ticketing platforms, to liquidate its UK business and set up under a new name in Switzerland has been a scandal in England and across Europe. Prior to the move an investigative documentary called “The Great Ticket Scandal” created by Channel 4 Dispatches showed that Viagogo and competitor Seatwave purchased large quantities of allocated primary tickets by leading promoters such as Ticketmaster to sell at exorbitant prices on the secondary market. Of course these parties will have the opportunity to legally defend themselves against the scandal presented in the Channel 4 documentary; however the move to Switzerland effectively makes the newly formed Viagogo AG exempt from UK trading law, and would exempt them from potentially stricter UK legislation concerning the resale of tickets.

Although we will not comment on recently proposed legislation in the UK, we would like to emphasise that Best Union’s policy is quite different than these companies’ models, and is based on absolute cost transparency, the total reliability of its system for online sales, constant research and investment in products and attention to customer care.

It’s certain that this man’s thoughts and thanks will go to Andrea and the other angels who, without thinking twice and with a great sense of responsibility and humanity, did not hesitate to lend assistance.

We all send our heartfelt thanks as well!

Due to the presence of a defibrillator in the exhibition halls, they were able to resuscitate the man and prevent neurological damage. In fact the man did not need to be hospitalised after the resuscitation and now his condition is satisfactory.

Speed of intervention, alertness and appropriate equipment can save a life... We all can still see the harrowing scene of the young footballer Piermario Morosini who died of an illness during Pescara - Livorno, under the pitiless eye of the cameras. The unfortunate young athlete from Bergamo is gone, but a similar tragedy was recently averted in Rimini, during the fair Technodomus, when a 68 year-old man from Carpi had a severe heart attack. The man was rescued by the timely intervention of a Best Union staff member on site, Andrea Gambuti and the technical manager of Rimini Fiera, Pedini Nazario.
