I come from a small family of four and was brought up in Suffolk which is a lovely part of the country where I have lived all my life. Since the age of around 10 years old I have been aware of my ability to see, sense and feel the contact from loved ones in Spirit World. Gradually as I entered my late teenage years my awareness of the gift to ‘tune in’ to higher energies started to become much more apparent and it was with the loss of someone quite suddenly who was very dear to my heart that I came to the realisation that I would have a lot of work to do in the service of Spirit in later years to come.

I started working professionally in 1992; I began my career with private one-to-one clients, working from my home which I thoroughly enjoyed and was to continue with over a period of five years. Due to personal recommendations things started to progress and I began home visits and group workshops concentrating on development skills.

Moving forward my role became public and I began working in various locations across the country with two or three others; I also continued with private readings and entered into demonstration which was to keep me busy for around seven years. Working at this level was a lovely experience and both exciting and rewarding, this was a valuable period in my career and one in which I grew and developed my own skills at a much deeper level. Following this I continued working from home and began readings for clients via the telephone through my own sources and from this I have connected and read for people all over the world experiencing some wonderful readings.

I have had the pleasure of recently looking into our family tree where I have discovered on my father’s side various links in history which trace all the way back to North America. Which makes a lot of sense to me as my spirit guide is a North American Indian called Chief Joseph. I find this a fascinating subject and am still putting the pieces together on this. In researching, it opens up a whole new perspective on our lives in general where we realise the history of our roots.

I have many interests including Art, Photography and Music with a love of travel and experiencing different cultures and ways of life across the world and my future ambition is to travel much more widely. Another interest of mine is Astronomy. I find it absolutely fascinating to be aware that all the time around us and above is the solar system everything is constantly changing and developing. New information is frequently being discovered. I feel it is an important aspect of our being, altogether giving a much bigger picture.

But perhaps it is the film that she is shooting now that will be the absolute making of her – Diana. Originally the film was going to be called Caught In Flight but has since been changed to just

‘Diana’. It is believed that the movie will tell the story of the last two years of Princess Diana’s life. Understandably she has admitted that she’s “terrified” of playing the high-profile role, but she wants people to know that she understands the legacy that Diana leaves behind and the special importance that she holds in the heart of British people. She has done much research on the role and is so serious about it that she has moved to Kensington in London to be in the same area that Princess Diana lived whilst in royal residence at Kensington palace.

The film is being directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall - a portrayal of the final few days of the Nazi regime), it is thought that the movie will explore Diana’s relationship with heart surgeon Hasnet Khan (being played by Naveen Andrews - known from The Buddha of Suburbia and Lost) they had a discreet affair that began in 1995 and ended a few months before her death in 1997. Rumours and photographs from the set suggest the film will also include the relationship she had with Dodi Al Fayed (played by Cas Anvar) and her death following a car crash in Paris.

Perhaps not surprisingly the Ecosse Directors – Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae have already faced some criticisms, but they have moved fast to quash them saying “everyone’s aim was to produce a truly insightful and compassionate study of Diana’s later years”.

Ecosse adds the biopic “charts how finding true personal happiness allowed her to achieve her defining successes, as she evolved into a major

international campaigner and humanitarian”.

Filming is taking place in Zagreb in Croatia as well as in London and other parts of the UK. Naomi’s co-star Naveen has been extremely complimentary saying he believes Watts was the only actress capable of playing the charismatic princess. However Jessica Chastain was actually first choice to play the role but she later dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Douglas Hodge and Juliet Stevenson are also among the cast for the film, which is likely to be released around February 2013.

Speaking from the set, Watts said: “I’m excited and honoured to be playing the role of a truly remarkable woman, who had such a positive and profound impact in so many ways.”

beautiful and yet down to earth (probably able to walk around without being noticed). Maybe it has something to do with being raised in laid-back Australia, although she is English born and now lives in New York. She has two sons and an enviable seven year length marriage (given

Hollywood norms) to actor Live Schreiber.

Like many Australian’s she started her acting life with a stint on Home And Away, but perhaps unusually she did not really bloom in Hollywood until she was in her 30’s gaining critical acclaim for her work in David Lynch’s 2001 psychological thriller Mulholland Drive, starring alongside Justin Theroux and Laura Harring. Then next came public recognition for her

participation in the box office hit horror film The Ring. In 2004, she received nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress as well as for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her portrayal of Cristina Peck in 2003 drama 21 Grams. The Autumn Equinox – 22nd September 2012___

The Autumn Equinox is also known as: Alban Elfed, Fall Equinox, Autumnal Equinox, Cornucopia, Feast of Avilon, Festival of Dionysus, Harvest Home, Harvest Tide, Mabon, Night of the Hunter Second Harvest Festival, Wine Harvest, Witch’s Thanksgiving, and the first day of autumn.

The word “equinox” was derived from Latin term “æquinoctium” which, in turn, came from “æquus” (equal), and “nox” (night). In Old English, the language spoken circa 450 to 1100 CE, called it efnniht. Alban Elued means in Gaelic, light on the Water and the sun is moving away over the water to shine on the Isles of the Blest, the Celtic Otherworld leaving the world with encroaching darkness.

It refers to the time that occurs twice a year when the night-time is equal to the daytime - each being nominally 12 hours in duration.

In the Celtic Wheel of the Year - Mabon falls mid-point of the harvest season which began at Lammas (1st August) and will end at Samhain (October 31st). The nights grow darker and winter begins to show;

constellations like Cassiopeia, Taurus, Ursa Minor and Pegasus will reappear in the night sky. In terms of astrology it is Libra (represented by a set of scales with the blind figure of Justice) that rules this period. The harvest season draws to a close and stores are laid down for winter.

PHi my name is Penny. In the spirit world I am known as White Dove, and as I tell my callers ‘I do a bit of everything!’ I am a medium and healer, work with guides and angels. A psychic. Empathic. Relationships are my specialist area, but my great love is connecting to someone’s loved one, maybe a much loved pet. Having had my own bereavements I realise how good evidence can make loss bearable. I inherited these much treasured gifts from my paternal grandmother who besides being a medium was a white witch and I have been known to do a few love spells in my time!!

Although I knew of my gifts from a child I did not use them until 1992 when my dad died suddenly, my world crashed down, clinical depression and agoraphobia, I gave up on life until I saw a blinding golden light that told me I had to keep going as I had a lot of people to help in the future. I couldn’t see how this was relevant to me then until with the help of my daughter who was then 11 we ended up at the Spiritualist church. From there I was ‘adopted’ by a wonderful mentor who saw my potential and took me round the churches and let me share her services.

The church encouraged and supported me during 3 years training to be a healer. One of my proudest moments was passing the physical healing, I have to laugh that a poor guy was dragged in off the street and I gave him healing, wasn’t told what was wrong with him but saw him almost cartwheeling down the road shouting his back hadn’t been so good in years!!

From there spirit led me to physical mediumship, the healing energies I use going hand in hand. Transfiguration happened with no effort on my part, or sitters, some people sit in circle for years to develop this remarkable gift. My first experience of it was at a church where they had dimmed the light next minute a woman was squealing my face had changed, me being me just replied if its Marilyn Monroe’s can it please stay that way!! I haven’t done this for a while but will at some stage.

Nowadays my life is devoted to working for spirit/God. When I am not on the phone lines I am a pastoral visitor with the local church, bringing prayer to those who are housebound. I also make healing jewellery the designs are channelled to me from my guides. A friend bought a bracelet and gave it to someone in hospital who had a stroke, this lady swears that her full recovery was down to the bracelet and refuses to ever take it off!!

My biggest challenge in my work was last June when my mum died. I was so distraught that I could not see me returning to work on the phone. My guides pointed out that if it hadn’t been for the messages given to me from one day after mums death from two amazing mediums that I would not have coped as well as I had, and now if I don’t return I am letting callers down in their time of need. Two weeks after the funeral I was back at work and overjoyed to find that I had a new guide, my mum. Together I hope that we can continue to help people for many more years.

Cherubim Angels

Cherubim angels are one of the highest

ranking angels and are said to be the guardians of the throne of God. Unlike most angels that have a more human like appearance, the Cherubim’s are claimed to have four faces, four wings (some say up to eight wings) and feet similar to that of a calf. Their head includes the face of a man, the face of a lion, the face of an ox and the face of an eagle, but please don’t be put off or frightened by this, after all, they do carry the same characteristics of other angels. The Cherubim name means “ones who hold fast” and in Hebrew as “fullness of knowledge”. Not only do the Cherubim angels guard the throne of God, but the Garden of Eden and the Tree of Life.

It is mentioned in the Book of Genesis, that the Cherubim angels forced Adam and Eve out of Eden, and guard the gates to Paradise, the Tree of Life with a

flaming sword flashing back and forth. As mentioned, the Cherubim’s are one of the highest ranking of the angels and are in fact positioned second. They were created with inexpressible beauty and powers. This particular group of angels are even more significant, as they were the first ones to be mentioned in the Old Testament and are also the guardians of the stars. The total number of Cherubim angels is unknown, but they are believed to sit around the throne of God...hence why they are probably the most important angels for guardianship (Dictionary of Angels, Gustav Davidson). They pretty much guard everything known to man!

It’s hard to justify which of the group of angels have the highest significance, but the Cherubim angels are the only ones who can read the Akashic Records. In simpler terms, they are the only set of angels who are able to read your thoughts, actions and every word that you have said from the day you were born. They are the masters of vibration and energy in the cosmos. This means, that if there was no existence of Cherubim angels, then there would be no vibrations in the world.

The focus on getting relationship issues sorted out once and for all – or at least improved – hots up this month as it will not be long now before Saturn moves out of Libra and the emphasis switches to another part of life. What seems like a pain or problem around the 3rd could be signalling a way to make things better. No pain no gain, as the saying goes! There is also a sea change around Pluto’s new direction on the 18th. It is time to prepare to be rid of some dead wood, whether mentally, emotionally or physically.

Once some energy is freed up from an existing commitment, you can be a power house of activity around other interests!

There was a time when people only thought of hypnosis being used in stage shows – getting a group of people together to do silly things for the amusement of those in the audience, but nowadays the use of hypnotherapy is much more main-stream with people using it to help them get over a fear of flying, give up smoking and even have a virtual gastric band operation to lose weight…

But for the uninitiated what is hypnosis and what actually happens when you are hypnotised?

Well, the process starts with a hypnotic induction – getting the client into a relaxed hypnotic state. Often this will involve the client relaxing, breathing deeply, closing their eyes and focusing on an image or perhaps a story that the hypnotist tells.

The purpose of this process is to get the person into a situation where the hypnotist can access their unconscious mind. Whilst in this condition the hypnotist will make positive suggestions for changes in behaviour for whatever problem the client is trying to overcome. Some clients may find it easier than others to achieve a hypnotic state and as a result may be more suggestible than others. But research demonstrates that most people benefit in some way by having hypnotherapy and often people find themselves more able to relax and to relax quicker the more they get to know their practitioner.

Hypnotherapy was actually around as early as 1843 called neuro-hypnotism (sleep of the nervous system) by Scottish neuroscientist James Braid. His work influenced a French doctor – Ambroise-Auguste Liébeault who later established The Nancy School of Psychotherapy and was widely credited with being the founder of hypnotherapy. Famous visitors to the school included Sigmund Freud who introduced a self-help improvement therapy called optimistic autosuggestion.

Perhaps the most notable and influential hypnotherapist was Milton Erickson an American psychiatrist. He had real belief in the power of the unconscious mind and felt that on a regular basis all of us move in and out of trance like / hypnotic states (think of day-dreaming whilst gazing out of a window, or your mind drifting while waiting for a bus). His approach was to use an indirect hypnosis with clients being able to choose to enter a trance-like state and he also used purposefully vague suggestions so that clients could build their own frame work to meet their individual needs.

The latest research suggests that a hypnotic state has two standpoints – on the one hand a client is calm, relaxed and free from distractions and yet on the other hand they are in a state of focused attention. This concept seems to be backed up by research by The Imperial College of London, where clients MRI scans demonstrate significant brain activity – with cognitive processing, at the same time as being in a hypnotic state.


TAURUS (April 21st - May 21st)

It is said there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but, according to a constructive link between the blessings planet, Jupiter, and your ruler, Venus, there might well be some sort of bonus before this month is over. In the meantime don’t let a demanding situation get the better of you. A clearer path forward is marked from around mid-month.

GEMINI (May 22nd - June 23rd)

A murky outlook as the month opens is not providing the whole picture, so try to be patient. Excellent improvements and developments are shown on the 5th and 10th and you may see things very differently by then. This doesn’t mean you will have an easy ride to the end of September, but it won’t be a boring month!

ARIES (March 22nd - April 20th)

Others may crumble under the strain of gritty dramas, whilst you seem to gain strength from finding a way to respond to them! You could come into your own around the 3rd, when Mars aligns with the powerful planet Pluto. It is quite different when Mars is at odds with Venus, around the 27th; and you would do best to sidestep a slanging match.

CANCER (June 23rd - July 22nd)

A final push will get results with a project around September 8th. You could then be free to start focusing on something new from around mid-month. If you want to keep momentum up, you will need to inject a further burst of energy around the 22nd. Try to keep things in perspective around the Full Moon on the 30th.

LEO (July 23rd - August 23rd)

There seems to be tension around, at the root of which could be an issue of over-extension. Whilst you may wish to do more, your circumstances are likely to dictate what can actually happen. This is not as grim as it sounds! It could simply be a wake up call to show you what is reasonable to plan for the future.

VIRGO (August 24th - September 23rd)

Mercury in your sign provides positive mental energy in September, but your judgement may be slightly off when Neptune confuses things at the start of the month. So wait a while before making any decisive moves. The period between the 4th and 10th is highly favourable for making progress. But slow down around the 20th when erratic Uranus is in charge!


LIBRA (September 24th - October 23rd)

There is an upside to Venus linking with the taskmaster planet Saturn on September 3rd – which may take a while to fully grasp. Your life is being made simpler in some ways, if harder in others. It all adds up to the famous Libran recipe for balance! Be ready to be happy around the 21st when Jupiter promises a boost.

SCORPIO (October 24th - November 23rd)

Scorpio is a master at ridings life’s ups and downs, which is a brilliant asset! September could start with a rocket, given a fiery link between Pluto and Mars on the 3rd, but you may be quite grateful for the prompt. A change that you have considered can be made on or after the 18th, once Pluto is in forward motion.

SAGITTARIUS (November 23rd - December 22nd)

You are holding one or two trump cards in September, but you may not want to play them too soon. Tricky Jupiterian links between the 7th and 9th suggest you can go too far, give too much or give the game away. Try to play it cool as there is a lot to be said for timing over the coming weeks.

CAPRICORN (December 23rd - January 20th)

A relationship might be going through a rocky patch around the start of the month, as Saturn and Venus are at odds then. If someone can’t respect your boundaries it is understandable if you feel angry. But remember that you cannot dictate anyone’s behaviour, any more than they can force you to do anything you don’t want to do!

AQUARIUS (January 21st - February 19th)

A quiet or dull start to the month will be deceptive, as there is clearly something special ahead with a favourable Uranus-Venus connection on September 13th. Whilst the law of attraction works in your favour and fortune smiles on you, do enjoy it! Try not to feel guilty about any good results, as you almost certainly do deserve them.

PISCES (February 20th - March 21st)

As Pisces is the fantasist zodiac sign, you can sometimes detach yourself so far from what is actually going on around you that even you wonder what planet you are on! You are being called back down to terra firma this month, though, which means you can finally get to grips with a few things that really do need doing.
