Ray has worked with Pieter and Marijke since 1999. He has lived, worked and celebrated with the Team through multiple eras. He started in the warehouse and since then progressed through customer service and purchasing. These days he is our national sales manager.

Keeping him busy is a team of 15 sales reps across NSW, QLD and WA. Originally starting with a team of 7, both Ray’s work family and actual family have increased in size over the years. Now a father of two (soon to be three!), Ray’s passion, drive and dedication is a perfect fit for a growing Team.

Leading the sales team has been no small feat. The additional sales staff has provided a more personalised service for our customers. Ray has extensive experience in customer relationship management and has worked to secure long tem customer contracts. Rays passion and strategic focus is always to drive higher engagement with more cost effective solutions.

Ray is a huge advocate of work-life balance and achieving great results by working hard, but also enjoying life outside of the office. When Ray is not at Team Medical he is following his passion of food. Ray consideres himself a bit of a ‘foodie’ and although he likes to give it a crack in the kitchen he doesn’t mind leaving the best food experiences to the professionals.

Another one of his passions is sport. He lives and breathes NRL. His two little boys are completely decked out in Knights gear from head to toe.

With a background in pharmacology, community medicine and oncology, it is not surprising that our Brisbane sales rep, Kylie, knows what it’s like to be in our customers’ shoes. She reckons being able to do this is fundamental to Team’s success and it’s important to provide different ordering tools that suit the different preferences of our customers.

She said the Team Medical website is particularly useful for people who know exactly what they want; but if they have questions or are a little unsure about the names or uses of equipment and consumables, then it’s a good practice (sorry about the pun) to call the customer service team or speak to one of the sales reps. In many instances, the reps can also provide samples, demonstrations or education about the products and/or equipment and given the prime directive of medical supplies is to help humans who are helping humans, this is a very important role.
