Our Over the Shoulder Harness is designed and tested to meet FMVSS-213 standard,

along with FMVSS-302 flammability requirements. The Harness must be used with an

existing lap belt in order to meet the FMVSS-213 Standard. The Over the Shoulder

Harness is an added way to give extra upper body support when being transported in a

school bus.

Besi Universal Securement Vest

Adjustable Securement Vest

1. Lift the cushion portion of the bench seat, and place the male

end of the cam wrap buckle in the space between the seat

cushion and seat back. Close and secure the seat cushion

assembly. On some seats lifting the seat cushion is unnecessary,

simply push the male end of the seat mount through the seat

bite, between the cushion and back until it is visible from behind

and below the seat.

2. Place the female end of the seat mount buckle over the top of

the seat back and bring the male end around from the bottom.

Click belt buckle together making sure that red release button is

facing inward

3. heck to make sure that bottom hooks of seat mount are 1 to 3

inches out of the seat bite; then tighten the seat mount until an

indentation is made in the top of the seat foam.

1. With passenger sitting down secure the upper and lower D-

rings of the vest to the snap hooks on the seat mount.

2. Make sure passenger is snug against the seat bottom and back.

If adjustment is necessary unhook the top D-rings from the snap

hooks and raise or lower the upper yoke of the seat mount

using the provided adjuster, then secure D-rings.

3. Recheck to make sure that the seat mount is tight and adjust as

necessary.

To install, drivers simply place the carrying case on the

seat, unfasten the Velcro lip and unfold the case to create a

cushioned seat. A belt wraps around the bus seat and attaches

1. Unlock seat and lift up.

2. Hang shoulder strap fromtop of seat. SECURING MOUNTSTRAP

3. Wrap mount strap aroundseat

4. Connect push button. Face ofpush button must be against busseat back.

5. Tighten webbing by pullingdown on the excess webbing.

6. Webbing must be tightenough to create a crease on thebus seat top.

7. Close seat bottom, with hipstraps on the seat bottom

8. Lock seat bottom in place.

9. Properly seat passenger (hipslow against the back of the seat andshoulders flush to the seat). 1

10. Attach hip level tether hooksto the hip level D-rings on EZ-ONVest. *Be sure that passenger has aproperly fitted vest. 1

11. Tighten hip straps by pulling on the webbing through the tilt adjuster on the back side ofthe seat. *Goal is to have the hip level d-rings to sink into the seat bite. 1

12. Loop shoulder strap through D-ring at shoulder level 1

13. Hook shoulder strap to D-ring on the back of the seat. 1

14. Tighten shoulder strap by pulling on the loose webbing. *Repeat steps 12 – 14 for second

shoulder strap.

Tighten vest so that no pinch in the webbing can be achieved on the chest strap. When vest is snug fingers will be unable to grab any webbing.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Hold vest while passenger steps into crotchstraps with the E-Z-ON® parachute logo infront.

2. Choose one of the (3) zippers that fits childsnuggly. Be certain that the vest fits secure.

3. Hook zipper lock.

*Keep waist strap low around the hip level.

4. Adjust crotch straps to shorten or lengthen.

*To be snug but not tight.

5. Adjust shoulder straps using adjusters.

*Pull webbing through adjuster to reduceslack.

*Do not pull too tight as this will cause vest topull up off of hips.

*The hip strap of the vest must stay lowaround the lap.
