Tshetsha Boys

The Tshetsha Boys do their dancing for fun so it doesn't really represent something but they do it because they like what people see, So it represents them.

I think this dance is fun and interesting because they use masks and silly moves.

Clap

Skip

The Gumboot dance represents miners ,because they wore boots to protect from water, and then started using the boots to communicate slapping them.

Side to side

I think this dance is awesome because Africans made a dance out of miners.

This dance is important because it is part of southern African culture. Also, they made a way of communicating into a dance.

Conclusion

In this project I learned that there are many different types of dances and music. I also learned the different type of instruments and parts of the body they use. I really liked studying South Africa and I hope to learn more.
