28 Days to Win!!
The holidays just got better. BSC is giving you more
ways to win big this holiday season with the BSC
2019 Holiday Raffle Calendar. For $5 you can
enter for your chance to win. Prizes vary from $15
up to $100. Names are drawn for every day from
Thanksgiving to Christmas. It’s a perfect
stocking stuffer and a great way to support
your senior center. Ask the front desk how!
From the Director:
The days are getting shorter and colder. Winter will be here
before you know it. With all the holiday craziness and prepping for
change in season it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself. The
Bernardston Senior Center can be a warm respite on a cold day.
Staying active isn’t just about exercising your
body; you have to exercise your mind too. Lively
conversation keeps you sharp.
Upcoming Programs and Holiday Events
Things are about to start getting festive around here. We’ll be launching

many others! Another new December workshop will have us creating

Susan LaFord (413) 522-8245
Cold weather is on our heels, let’s be mindful of our
health! It’s important to get your flu and pneumonia
shots. Many local pharmacies offer them in addition to
your doctor.
Use daylight savings as a reminder to change the bat-
teries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Don’t forget, the fire department will clean your chim-
ney for a donation; just call Pete Shedd.
As the nights grow longer, you may find yourself in
need of a cup of tea and great conversation. Stop by the
senior center to help keep your mind and soul active.
My best,
Susan
