IMPORTANT TELEPHONE NUMBERS Berkshire Easter Egg Hunt 2007 Rain or shine, it was a go for the Berkshire Easter Egg Hunt on April 7 after having one postponement the week before due to thunderstorms. The turnout was great and the kids were real troopers finding 1200 eggs in the cold rain. Small prizes were awarded for participation in the bean bag toss game, and 11 Easter gift baskets and a jar full of jelly beans were given away. Sheltering from the winter-like weather, we made very good use of the new meeting room at the recreational building, having the face painting and egg crayon coloring activities inside. We also made good use of the covered area, where we set up the prize table, refreshment table, and bean bag toss game. Many thanks go out to our committee: Shelley Fleming, Leanne Winsor, Anna Garcia, Katina Brauer, Yamile Gusman, and Denise Sanchez. You were all wonderful, and I look forward to working with you again. Also, we would like to thank our face painters Donna Vo and Carolin Nguyen, and our bunny volunteer Sonny Anderson and his assistant April Petersen. We also want to thank Beola Baker for providing consultation, Myla Chandler for making facility arrangements, and EnTouch for providing cookies and bottled water. Also, I want to personally thank my husband Mark Wardrop for his carpentry work on the bean bag toss game. This event would not have been successful without all of these great volunteers. Most importantly, thanks to all of the residents who came. The event would not have been a success without you! We hope that everyone had a good time at the event and a wonderful Easter holiday! Sincerely, Charlene Wardrop, Easter Egg Hunt Coordinator
