What is BEOGS®

BEOGS (Biometric Integrated Automated Gate System) is designed and developed for the passport checkpoint transitions in airports. The system works by passport control and biometric identity check, inte-grated to the law enforcements’ biometric identity search database.

The most important advantage of BEOGS is being an integrated system of physical, electronical and software components, and totally manufactured by Papilon. According to countries’ security preferences, BEOGS can work by being integrated to the central fingerprint database and passport registry information database, or by using finger-print and photograph data stored in the passport’s smartchip directly.

Undesired events during the checkpoint passages can be de-tected and prevented by the special sensor algorithms. Story of Success

The installation of BEOGS has been com-pleted in the biggest airport, called Atatürk International Airport, of Turkey. It is inte-grated to the world’s biggest central AFIS/APFIS system and all of the other identifi-cation systems of Republic of Turkey’s law enforcements.

BEOGS gates are presented to the passen-ger usage in the passport checkpoints of the international departure and arrival ter-minal of Istanbul Ataturk Airport, managed by the Turkey’s world famous leading com-pany, TAV Airports.
