Dear Parents/Carers

Re: Year 8 - Visit to the ‘Victorian Classroom’ at Springfield Primary School, Broomhall

Date of visit: Friday 1 February 2013

As part of the History curriculum your child will be visiting ‘The Victorian Classroom’ at Springfield Primary School, Broomhall.

This will involve dressing up as a Victorian child (costumes provided there) and taking part in a role play. Pupils will be accompanied by teaching assistants and their History teacher from school at all times.

Pupils will need to take a packed lunch so please indicate your child’s lunch requirements on the reply slip and return to the school office as soon as possible.

We will travel by minibus and depart at 9.15am and arrive back at school in time for the end of the school day to enable pupils to return home as usual.

The cost of the visit will be £4.45 and we would very much appreciate a voluntary contribution.

If you would like to provide your child with a small amount of spending money on the day to purchase goods in the small shop at the venue, we advise bringing no more than £5.00.
