Possibilities to hang a four (wide) by three (long) meters back drop behind the band (see also ‘stage plan’). If necessary back drop can fold to two (wide) by three (long) meters. One (1) barstool on stage SOUND & SOUNDCHECK PA system according to venue size with minimum 15" bass speakers – controlled by a professional and certified sound engineer. PA system with effects: various reverb , various delay , and various gated reverb . Monitor system on stage – preferable 6 monitors – minimum 5 monitors. Three (3) vocal microphones. Preferable one wireless BETA87A (positioned “VM (a)” on ‘stage plan’), one wired BETA87A (positioned “VM (b)” on ‘stage plan’), and one BETA 58 (positioned “VM (c)” on ‘stage plan’). Three (3) microphone stands placed as shown on ‘stage plan’. Please notify if the above microphones are not available. Microphones to mic up the piano, flugelhorn/trumpet, drums, and bass (amp). One of the vocal microphones “VM (c)” is going through an effect processor that sends out in stereo (two ¼” Jack) and therefore needs two DI-boxes for the two ¼” Jack. IMPORTANT: The band must have no less than two (2) full hours on stage for sound check - with fully functional PA and monitor equipment as well as all backline fully functional. Sound check needs to end no later than 1½ hour before Showtime which will leave enough time for consuming dinner. PIANIST One (1) Grand Piano preferable a Steinway or Yamaha, newly tuned and in good shape + piano chair with adjustable height. Upright piano or electric piano (baby grand look a like) might be an acceptable substitute for Grand Piano. Please notify if Steinway or Yamaha Grand Piano is not available. Keyboard: Nord Electro + keyboard stand + piano chair. BASS Preferable a bass cabinet, with minimum 2x10” speakers, and 1/4” connection jacks. (A combo amp of any size not smaller than a “Gallien Krueger – MB 150” is acceptable). Bass player brings own upright bass (and power amp if bass cabinet is available - Please notify) unless otherwise specified in the contract/agreement.

    DRUMS

    • Unless otherwise specified in the contract/agreement one of the following brands & series: Ludwig classic maple, Sonor highlite, Yamaha Maple Custom, or Pearl Masters custom. Drums: Bass 18” or 20”, 12” side tom, 14” floor tom, 14x5 or 14x5 & 1/2” snare drum. Hardware (Preferably yamaha): Two (2) cymbal stands with boom arms preferably light stands single legged. One (1) Hi-hat stand, one (1) snare drum stand, one (1) bassdrum pedal, and one (1) drum throne.

    • Drummer brings own cymbals FLÜGELHORN / TRUMPET

    • Horn player brings own instrument BEVERAGE, FOOD + WATER: 10 x ½-liter (or similar) still water bottles – room temp. (not cold) – on stage. FOOD: Five (5) meals – please note that two (2) are vegetarian. Red wine if possible. The food needs to be served no later than 1½ hours before Showtime. BACK STAGE: A decent back stage room for privacy with access to a rest room and mirror. MIRROR: A full size (or at least a ¾ full size) mirror and a mirror with make-up lights. TOWELS: One (1) clean towel for each musician – on stage.
