Grade 8 Unit 2 –
business plan (noun) a written plan that describes a set of business
goals, how you make money, and how you will get people to buy your product (marketing).
sequence (noun)a set of things, actions, or events
arranged or happening in a certain order, first to last.
afterwards (adverb) at a later time or after an event that already
happened.
meanwhile (adverb)at the same time as another thing.
suddenly (adverb)happening quickly and unexpectedly
flashback (noun)an event or scene from the past that appears
in a story that is out of order, writers use a flashback to fill in information or explain something in the present.
interrupt (verb) to cause something or someone to stop; to
break the flow of something.
scribbled down (phrase)
to write something down quickly and carelessly
jingle (noun)a catchy tune (song) or verse used to
advertise something.
