Comprehensive installa� ons comprise a number of C-PAK+ and/or C-PAK Terminal systems networked to a number of offi ce PCs. Distance network connec� ons are normally via the internet.

Simple installa� ons comprise a single C-PAK+ or C-PAK Terminal networked to a nearby single offi ce PC.

Order Handling

The Order Schedule Summary screen lists all current orders on the system. An Order / Batched Volume sec� on and Status messages: Undefi ned, Wai� ng Start, Started and Complete, indicate order progress in terms of delivery to the customer. This informa� on is some� mes needed quickly in answer to customer’s enquiries.

This screen shows only the order iden� ty data and other brief details. The full data is available via the Add Order screen that can be selected for any individual order.

QuotationsThe system maintains current and past issues of current quota� ons. All past quota� ons are archived.

Quota� on are iden� fi ed by a unique Quote Nos. In addi� on, any number of quota� ons may be assigned to a unique Job No. This is done when it is known that quota� ons to diff erent customers are des� ned for the same end user job.

Also, quota� ons are assigned a Status: Quoted, Acknowledged, Ordered, Rejected or Lost. The screen then caters for viewing selected Job No and Status catagories.

Quota� ons can include fi nished products (precast), quarry materials and services as well as readymixed concrete.

Automa� c pricing is available from pre-stored cost and charge rate data.

When orders are accepted they are automa� cally placed on the Order Schedule.

The system supports Shipping Schedules for today and future days, for individual plants. They replace the tradi� onal hand wri� en shipping sheets.

Shipping schedules for today are dynamic in that they show the � me of day, loading delays and the load currently being batched.

Key details of individual loads can be readily displayed: Order no, Planned Time On Site, Expected Time On Site, Load Volume, Cumula� ve Volume and Truck Reg.

The Load Schedules (numeric versions of the Shipping Schedules) for todays’ schedules are automa� cally transmi� ed to the associated plant systems.

This screen gives an immediate indica� on of availability. If the requirement can be met the operator may confi rm the load or loads. If not, any alterna� ve available � mes are shown. Also, the operator may show the load or loads on the schedule as Provisional which may enable him to adjust other loads on the schedule in order to fi nd an accommoda� on.

This rapid indica� on of availability is of signifi cant benefi t when taking telephone orders.

Truck Schedules

Truck Schedules show truck u� lisa� ons and alloca� ons. They relate one to one to todays’ Shipping Schedules. A sub screen provides for defi ning truck availabili� es to the plants at diff erent � mes of day: truck profi les.

Loads are added to the Shipping Schedules from the Order Schedule via the Add Load screen.

InvoicingOrders that have been batched or part batched cannot normally be deleted from the system: they must at some �me be sent for invoicing and archiving. A review procedure is available whereby all Complete orders are presented in sequence for adjustment, if any, and approval.The system may be configured to directly print invoices or to transmit file data to an accoun�ng computer, such as Sage.

Complete Turnkey Automation ProjectsPrac�con and its appointed distributors can provide turnkey installa�ons comprising C-PAK Office and associated C-PAK+ Batching Systems. C-PAK+ and the smaller C-PAK Micro Batching systems are available for readymixed concrete, precast concrete and mortar plant automa�on.

TechnicalThe system provides centralised access to technical data. This includes mix design and archived produc�on (load report) data as well as other plant performance data.

Modularity & PricingSystems are configured from four main modules: Quotations, Orders and Shipping, Invoicing and Technical, and system supply and support prices vary accordingly.

Similarly, prices also relate to the number of system PCs and the number of plant system connections.

Maintenance ServicesOn-site maintenance services are provided by Prac�con and its appointed distributors.

Telephone / modem support and parts replacement backup services are provided by Prac�con from its UK base.
