As the mercury drops, the days get shorter, and thoughts turn to the mountains, Bench is proud to announce what the world has been waiting for: The Winter 2013 4Spot Collection. We’ve taken the legendary Bench streetwear style and added boardsports performance fabrics and detailing to create technical outerwear - with attitude. To create a collection that works in the harsh, unforgiving mountain environment, our designers and testers scoured the globe in the hunt for the perfect blend of functional materials that stay true to the legendary Bench back-catalogue. We call it Bench Technical Streetwear. Our snowboard and ski technical outerwear repels snow, ice, wind and rain but allows heat and moisture to wick away. Add in a range of layering and insulation choices and it’s the ultimate barrier. From watching the legendary Air and Style, to being in the moshpit at Snowbombing, to hiking a Zillertal backcountry powder stash, the Winter 13 Bench 4Spot collection performs. Two key themes influence the Winter 13 collection: Motorcycle Madness and Deep Space. These contemporary ideas inform the colourways, names, styling and detailing on every piece. Silhouettes include loose, relaxed, bomber and slim fit, with anatomically-correct cuts, flex and reach for riders and skiers who demand outerwear that won’t let them down in the backcountry or doing park laps. 4Spot takes Bench’s streetwear attitude into the boardsports world.
