The CYSS goal is to assist each child by promoting his/her intellectual growth, physical ability, and social skills.

Under the regulatory guidance of AR 608-10, CYSS programs are offered as a supplement to the family, not as a substitute. Therefore, they seek the fam-ily’s involvement and welcome questions and com-ments.CYSS offers various programs to support children and families with child care, recreation, social-ization, and child development for children ages

4 weeks–19 years. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) offer full day and hourly child care programs

for ages 6 weeks–5 years old. School Age Services (SAS) offers a variety of care, to include part day preschool and

full day, hourly, and before and after school care for school age children. The Family Child Care (FCC) program offers full day, hourly, before and after school, and extended hours care for ages 6 weeks–12 years old. The Youth Services (YS) program offers an after-school middle school program, open recreation, health, fit-ness, and social opportunities for 6th grade and up, free of charge.

Child Development Centers (CDC’s)Army CYSS Programs have been described as “a model for the na-tion,” and they do the best to deserve that accolade! The rates are competitive with other programs of comparable quality. Hourly care is also available at South Post CDC Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Reservations may be made up to four weeks in advance. If you want to know about the daily lesson plans, schedules and routines, child growth and development issues, or what constitutes a quality day care experience for children, just ask. CYS registration is re-quired. Contact the registration office at 703.805.9114/9116/9118 for registration and enrollment information today, or visit our web site at www.belvoirmwr.com/cys.

ACS assists the military community by developing, coordinating and delivering services which help promote self-reliance, resilien-cy and stability during war and peace. ACS classes and training are designed to equip Soldiers and Families with the skills, knowl-edge and support needed to face the challenges of military life.

Information & Referral ProgramThe ACS I&R Program provides information regarding military and civilian community resources. I&R maintains an extensive, integrat-ed resource file of sources to which personnel may be referred if im-mediate, direct assistance is not available. For I&R services stop by the front desk at ACS, bldg 200 or call 703.805.5056/3413/4590.

Our mission is to educate the community about the SOS Program and advocate on behalf of all Fami-lies who have suffered the loss of a Soldier. We strive to build a unified support program which embraces

and reassures Survivors that they are continually linked to the Army Family for as long as they desire.

We provide an avenue of resouces to include support groups, newsletters, information briefs and social ac-

tivities. This program has provided a Support Coordinator to help you with any issues you have and will give your support as you come to terms with your loss. A Financial Counselor will also assist you with any questions you may have regarding your finances.
