Talented students from 130 countries and all 50 states come to George Mason University. Why? Because we offer the unparalleled and customized opportunities they need to achieve career success.
RESEARCH. WHO SAYS IT’S ONLY FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS?Mason is Virginia’s largest public research
university, and as an Honors College student,
you could conduct research as early
as your first year. Choose a topic that
fascinates you and have the freedom
to explore it in-depth. Conduct animal
behavior research at Yosemite
National Park. Collaborate with
NASA to study space weather.
Work alongside a faculty
mentor to investigate the
effects of a concussion.
An internship with the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. A semester spent
working at the Smithsonian National Zoo. A summer spent studying Arabic and French
in Morocco. You could have experiences like these as a student at Mason. In fact,
98 percent of our students are involved in experiential learning. And thanks to our
location just outside of D.C., you won’t have to look far for opportunities.
SUCCESS IS MEASURED
BY RESULTS.The experiences you have at
Mason will prepare you for career success—80 percent of employed
Honors graduates are in major-related careers. Take graduate Mike Foss, who
turned an internship with USA Today into a career as a sports journalist. Foss was
named by Forbes magazine as one of 2015’s “30 Under 30” media stars to watch.
HEY, WHIZ KID.Continue your success here.
YOUR RÉSUMÉ WILL BE FUN
TO READ.
