BUILDING EXPANSION: $1.3 MILLION To be constructed and completed in time for the start of the 2017-18 school year. This addition will provide the space needed to house 120 students in a co-institutional setting while also improving our all students' access to science and technology labs.
GIRLS SCHOOL FUND: $1 MILLION Our need for operating funds will increase over the coming years, with our operating budget expanding by nearly 50% in order to educate 100% more students. Our campaign seeks to raise $1 million towards the additional expenses we will face in the first years of the girls school.
Endowment: $200,000 Gifts to Bellesini’s endowment are assets that are invested in perpetuity. Endowment funds will provide a steady predictable source of income over time, allowing the Academy to build its programs and secure its future.

Capital Campaign
Our Programs Our Success In order to provide students with the extra
support they require to achieve their potential,
the Academy operates an extended school day
eleven months a year. Students attend more
than 2000 hours of instruction each year—
nearly double that of public school students.
Bellesini’s extended school day and lengthened
academic year bring the advantages enjoyed by
suburban students to at-risk youth in Lawrence:
A rigorous academic curriculum taught by
highly qualified professional faculty in classes
limited to 15 students, with a special
emphasis on literacy and writing;
After-school activities such as clubs, team
athletics, recreational activities, and
enrichment programs help students develop
their non-academic talents and interests;
Evening study sessions provide a quiet and
structured environment in which students
are offered one-on-one tutoring while they
complete an average of two hours of nightly
homework;
A four-week summer program extends
learning into an “11th month” of school,
offering a safe and fun summer camp
experience that continues building academic
skills while introducing students to new
recreational pursuits in a college prep setting;
A High School Placement Program
guides students through SSAT/HSPT
preparation, admissions applications,
admissions interviews, and financial aid;
An Alumni Support Program helps
graduates transition from Bellesini to high
school and provides support services
throughout high school and college.
100% high school placement in Catholic, private, and boarding schools:
100% graduate from high school
97% accepted and attend college, trade school, or military
Students gain an average of two grade levels each year in Math & Reading
I grew up listening to how important it was to pursue an academic education and how that
might influence [one’s] future. However, it was not until I saw the impact Bellesini had on my
sons and my family that I had this concept understood. At Bellesini, I learned that we, as
parents, have to get involved with our children’s education in order for them to succeed. I saw how my sons have developed a sense for being successful that could only be acquired through discipline and commitment found at Bellesini. If
children are the future…let’s pray that programs such as the Bellesini Academy
continue! --Moises Camilo, Bellesini Parent 10:25 a.m.
