AboutBELLE IKAT creates high quality feminine clothes made

of traditionally produced natural textiles, such as Silk

Road handwoven Ikat. It was founded by two creative

women with international background. They took as main

principles of the company fairness and sustainability.

BELLE IKAT sees itself as part of the slow fashion

movement. All garments have a long shelf-life and are

not bound to seasonality and trends. The designs of

BELLE IKAT are somewhat bohemian and relaxed, yet can

be worn in a very contemporary urban context.

Our Ikat fabrics are made by master

craftsmen in the Fergana Valley,

whose families have employed these

techniques for generations.

This ancient process involves a

complex method of patterning silk or

cotton warp threads through resist

dying before weaving.

Our clothing combines Ikat with silk,

cotton and velvet.

We believe that fair and sustainable

fashion is not just a trend. Most of our

pieces are produced in Germany out of

the finest Uzbek Ikats and other natural

fabrics. BELLE IKAT pieces are easy to

recognise due to the bold patterns,

vibrant colours of Uzbek Ikat and
