Read the following passage. Be prepared to give a summary.

Why do we listen to music? The answer to that question could be as simple as “we listen to music just because we like it.” However, the answer can also be more complex because we listen to music in a variety of different ways that satisfy specific needs at certain times. The pleasure attained by attending an orchestra concert is different from the enjoyment engendered by hearing a jazz trio in the background at a fine restaurant. Music produces a feeling of euphoria in both situations, but it does so by appealing to different levels of listening.
