4 different cylinders are placed in a box. If a cylinder is randomly pulled from the box, what is the probability that the lateral surface area of the cylinder will be greater than 86 cm2?

cylinder 1: r = 2 cm; h = 3 cmcylinder 2: r = 2 cm; h = 4 cmcylinder 3: r = 3 cm; h = 4 cmcylinder 4: r = 3 cm; h = 5 cm

What is the probability of getting a surface area greater than 86 square centimeters?

I found the surface area of each cylinder by multiplying the pi by 2 and multiplying that by the radius and height. I counted the number of areas greater than 86. I wrote my probability placing the number of areas greater than 86 over the total number of areas. I reduced.

To cover his bulletin board, Mr. Adams needs 1½ yards of fabric and 6¼ yards of trim. If the fabric costs $2.79 per yard and the trim costs $1.19 per yard, which equation can be used to find c, the total cost of covering the bulletin board?

A. c = (2.79 + 1.5) + (1.19 + 6.25)

B. c = (2.79 · 1.5) + (1.19 · 6.25)

C. c = (2.79 + 1.5) − (1.19 + 6.25)

D. c = (2.79 · 1.5) − (1.19 · 6.25)
