Wednesday 14 th July Maths with Mr Murphy THANK YOU to everyone who supported the book fair. This year, we took £600 which means that about £300 has been raised for the school. Message from the Head Teacher Welcome back to the second half of the summer term. We have a number of exciting events including International Week, International Evening, Parents’ Evening, Sport’s Day and the Summer Fair! We look forward to your participation and support. Parents of Year 5 pupils will be invited to a Secondary Transfer 2011 meeting taking place on 7 th July at 9am in the library. All applications for secondary transfer in 2011 must be completed by the 15 th October; the meeting will explain the process to you. We would like to thank the PTA for their enormous efforts and hard work this year. We have enjoyed the success of these events and thank you for your support. Money raised will contribute to the children’s outdoor learning environments. We sadly say goodbye to Mrs Pocklington who will be retiring this year and to Mrs Mittleman and Miss Kensit who go on to further their teaching careers in other schools. Selma Razvi - parent gov ernor, would like to thank all the families who now no longer stop on the zig- zag lines. This has made Bell Lane a safer school for everyone. Please continue to stop safely, avoiding the zig-zag lines.

Childminding WeekTo celebrate Childminding Week, we are holding aChildminding event on Thursday 17th June 9.30am - 12

noon. There will be lots of fun activities for registeredChildminders and the children they look after.
