which means that about £300 has beenraised for the school.
Message from the Head Teacher
Welcome back to the second half of the summer term. We have a number of exciting events includingInternational Week, International Evening, Parents’ Evening, Sport’s Day and the Summer Fair! We lookforward to your participation and support.Parents of Year 5 pupils will be invited to a Secondary Transfer 2011 meeting taking place on 7th July at
9am in the library. All applications for secondary transfer in 2011 must be completed by the 15th
October; the meeting will explain the process to you.
We would like to thank the PTA for their enormous efforts and hard work this year. We have enjoyed thesuccess of these events and thank you for your support. Money raised will contribute to the children’s
outdoor learning environments.We sadly say goodbye to Mrs Pocklington who will be retiring this year and to Mrs Mittleman and MissKensit who go on to further their teaching careers in other schools.

Baby Clinic
From 30 June 2010 the Hendon Baby Clinic will bemoving to Bell Lane Children's Centre and will runevery Wednesday from 1.30 - 3.30pm. This is a drop
in clinic.
We are now taking bookings for our Summer Tripsto Southend and Willows Farm Park during the
summer holidays. Please contact us for furtherinformation.
Childminding WeekTo celebrate Childminding Week, we are holding aChildminding event on Thursday 17th June 9.30am - 12
noon. There will be lots of fun activities for registeredChildminders and the children they look after.
