I am a multi-discipline creative who came up through the event, film and brand communication industries, honing my craft on the job and learning from some of the best in the business. My talents are creative direction, brand communication (internal and external) show direction, environment design and content production.

I use these talents to create emotional connections for my client’s audiences. Whether it’s an internal kickoff for a thousand employees, an exhibition stand bringing a brand to life, a brand communication video profiling a company for potential investors or a celebration involving hundreds of performers, all have one thing in common...

Heart. A passionate belief in what we’re doing and who we’re doing it for. It’s what makes the connection for me, for the people that work with me and for the audience.

I approach creative solutions holistically - as I know that communicating with people, really touching their hearts and minds, is about connecting to them emotionally as well as intellectually.

I love the world I work in…it’s vibrant and exciting, spirited and innovative. People on both the agency side and the client side really care about what they do and so do I. I also love being part of a creative team and believe in a culture that promotes creativity through empowerment and respect. I love having people to bounce ideas off and to collaborate with. It always seems so much more satisfying and much more fun than doing it alone… …like most things in life!

Strategic creative solutions and ideas Articulating and presenting creative strategy, ideas, proposals and concepts to clients Managing the process of concept and design for client briefs. Participating in and managing ideation and research - i.e. brainstorms, creative workshops etc. Managing the team and their creative output, once the creative solution is agreed upon, to deliver the creative solution to the client Offering guidance and direction, once in production, plus changes if required, for a balance of creative, time and costs Reviewing work outputted as part of the creative process so that quality is maintained

SHOW DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

As SHOW DIRECTOR I’m responsible for the overall creative delivery of the show from the idea to the live performance I lead other creative ‘show’ partners such as musical directors, choreographers, set, lighting, AV designers and content producers so that everyone understands their part in the production and the ultimate vision. I work closely with the producer to advise on technical and logistical requirements and to ensure a balance of creative, time and costs are maintained. I work in partnership with the client so that every one of their objectives is not only met but surpassed.

BRANDED CONTENT, SCREEN, VIDEO WRITER/ DIRECTOR

My background in film production is extensive and I am an experienced director for live action, drama and motion graphics. My talent as a director really shines when it comes to interviewing (and getting a performance out of) real, everyday people. I’ve worked with hundreds of people from many organisations, from CEO’s down, and have always managed to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera, even if they've never done it before. I can provide end to end content production, or part there of, either as stand alone productions or as part of an environment or event I’m experienced in script writing and storyboarding inc. initial concept/proposal writing.

I could have just said, in a nut shelI, I have extensive experience across multiple mediums and audiences, plus a strong understanding of brand and corporate communication strategies, along with subject matter expertise in creative thinking and solution trends. My background in film/video production and all kinds of live events has given me a thorough working knowledge of all the production mediums needed for brand experiences as well as the management of creative people. I have strong presentation and communication skills and I am experience in pitching to CEO level, across a variety of industries, with demonstrated ability to convert new business opportunities (pitch conversion) and in relationship building.

My clients, in the last several years, have included Optus, Volkswagen, Commonwealth Bank, Kimberly Clark, Samsung Electronics, MSD, ANZ, Coca Cola South Pacific, Brookfield Multiplex, Amex, Sydney Water and IBM just to name a few. My latest projects have included an internal campaign for Coca Cola South Pacific, a conference for Optus, a launch event for Samsung, an expo stand for Sydney Water, a conference & awards night for Volkswagen, a marketing suite for Brookfield Multiplex, a festival for King St Wharf and videos for IBM, ANZ and Caltex. I’ve also led a number of successful pitches in the last few months, in particular one for a series of launch events for the new VOLVO XC90 - an innovation not just in cars but for the entire VOLVO brand.
