BEITEN BURKHARDT Advises TRINA SOLAR on the Acquisition of Solland's Photovoltaic Activities Frankfurt am Main, 24 February 2016 The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT advised TRINA SOLAR, the world leading manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, on the acquisition of Solland Solar's photovoltaic activities, including a large production site at “Avantis“, a cross-border industry location between Aachen, Germany, and Heerlen, the Netherlands. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction price. The BEITEN BURKHARDT team led by Dr. Christof Aha and Dr. Tobias Nuß regularly advises TRINA SOLAR. Peter Faisst, TRINA SOLAR's Head of Legal (Europe & Africa), led the transaction with his inhouse team. The transaction was accompanied from the Dutch side by a team led by Jorrit van der Weide and Elmer van der Kamp of Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn advocaten en notarissen.
