4 Show Guide & Directory ResourcesThe very first thing you will want to do when you get on-site is pickup copies of the Show Guide, Directory, and Addendum. These pub-lications have the most up-to-date information about CES and areyour best resources for successfully navigating the show floor. Theycan be found in publication bins outside the venues and within themain lobbies, hallways, International Commerce Centers (ICCs),press rooms, and more.

The Show Guide is the most critical tool for attendees to use innavigating the show, conferences, and special events. It providesquick listings, CES shuttle bus service information, and event infor-mation for attendees on the move looking for TechZones, specialevents, conference sessions, and more.

The Directory contains the most comprehensive contact informa-tion for exhibitors with company profiles, brand listings, andimportant product information. A great resource for the whole year!

The Addendum is inserted in the Show Guide and contains themost up-to-date show floor maps and exhibitor listing. This piecegoes to print last, so it contains the latest information.

5 ShortcutsRunning late for a meeting? Trying to get from here to there in theshortest time possible? Check out these shortcuts to help keep youon schedule. You can find a detailed map of the CES shuttle busroutes mentioned here on www.CESweb.org/travel, in your Pre-Show Planner, and in the Show Guide. On-site, look for the shuttleroute locators near the CES shuttle bus pickup and drop-off areas atthe LVCC in front of Central Hall and on the patio at the front ofSouth Hall 1. At the Sands, a shuttle route locator can be found justbefore you step onto the patio of the bus loading area.

Every attendee has an agenda at the International CES—includingyou. You probably have meetings with exhibitors and conferencesessions you want to attend. If you’re a buyer, you may be planningall of your purchases for the coming months.

With more than 1.6 million net square feet of exhibit space tocover and only four days to do it in, efficiency is key. Wouldn’t a per-sonal concierge be just the thing to make it all manageable?

That’s where the CES Concierge Center comes in. Located in thehighly trafficked area directly in front of the LVCC, Central Hall inthe CES Central Plaza (see map p. 7), this large, inviting structureis hosted by a dynamic staff, well-trained to extend a helping handto you.

INTERNATIONAL COMMERCE CENTERS (ICCs)The International CES offers three business centers exclusively forinternational attendees and exhibitors. Services include privatemeeting rooms for up to six people (reserved on a first-come, first-served basis); Internet stations where you can connect with youroffice back home; light refreshments in the mornings and after-noons; and a lounge area where you can meet casually with col-leagues or rest after a busy day on the show floor.

7 Build Your Perfect Show with MyCES PersonalPlanner

The MyCES Personal Planner is a free, powerful tool that helps youmaximize your time at CES and connects you with the people,products, and educational sessions you need to be successful.

When you register for CES, you also can provide an e-mailaddress just for MyCES—or use the same one you use to register forCES as long as it’s unique to only you. Your MyCES e-mail addressgives you access to your own portal and the ability to search theentire community of CES exhibitors, attendees, products, and edu-cational sessions that match your specific criteria and goals to makethe most of your four days at the show.

The MyCES Personal Planner also lets you connect online—before the show—with the exhibitors, products, and educationalsessions that can help you grow your business and be successful.

8 CES NecessitiesPAYPHONESDue to the high volume of business transactions taking place atCES, getting a cellphone signal is often difficult. Attendees can nowmake toll-free and local calls for FREE on the pay telephones withinthe Las Vegas Convention Center, courtesy of Smart City and theLVCC.

RESTROOMSRestrooms are located throughout the Sands/Venetian, LVCC, andLas Vegas Hilton. If you are outside at the LVCC in the CES Cen-tral Plaza, you’ll find posh “comfort stations” there as well so youdon’t have to go back inside.

PLACES TO SITWe have listened to attendees’ feedback, and we are working this yearto provide additional seating in and around the CES venues. Benchesare located throughout the CES venues for your convenience.

For additional seating, check out any of the restaurants at theLVCC including Banners in the Grand Lobby, International FoodMarket in the South Hall 1 Lobby, or any of the food service areason the exhibit floors. The CES Central Plaza’s Restaurant Row offerstwo large Plaza Café seating areas. You’ll also find places to sit in theConcierge Center, located in the CES Central Plaza, and in any ofthe three ICCs.

Another great way to sit down and relax for a few minutes is tojump on the Sands/Venetian Express. This express shuttle servicewill take you to and from the LVCC and the Sands/Venetian andensures you’ve got a place to sit down and relax.

At the Sands/Venetian you can find seating scattered throughoutthe show floor and also in The Venetian Hotel food court.

But if you only have one day, there are a few “musts” like seeinga keynote address and attending one of the more than 175 confer-ence sessions.

Start in the Sands/Venetian to see the more than 12 CES Tech-Zones and Innovations Plus at the Sands. This venue opens at 8am,one hour earlier than the other CES venues!

Then, take the Sands/Venetian Express to the LVCC, the venuethat houses the largest number of CES exhibitors.

Be sure to take advantage of the MyCES Personal Planner tosearch for the exhibitors, products, and conference sessions thatinterest you the most. Then print out a customized map that showsyou the most direct route to where you want to go.

11 How to See CES in 2 DaysIf you can only spare two days of your work week at CES, make themost of it by planning ahead.

If you attend CES on Monday and Tuesday, start your dayon Monday at the Sands/Venetian as the show floor opens early,head to a keynote address at The Venetian in the morning, visit the
