Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2015 Thoughts about the trip During this trip, I've made so many new friends and built stronger friendships with others. More importantly, I've seen how words can impact one so positively as we encouraged each other. 60km isnt a short distance. It made me feel a sense of accomplishment as I knew that all the hard work and determination didnt go to waste. I've successfully proven that I am not weak and I did it for my friends and family. To be honest, if you gave me one more day to trek, I would gladly do it. It may be tiring, but the memories are more important than that. Thank you for this experience. Jalessa 3/4 Coral Secondary School Student Leadership Overseas Expedition to Beijing 2015 Thoughts about the trip I not only enjoyed the Beijing Trip but the trainings before it as well. As this overseas trip is about the journey and not the destination itself. During the trek, I learned a lot about my friends. For example, some of them have a phobia of heights. To be honest, I too, had a phobia of heights but in order to help my friends, I overcame my own fears as we encouraged and helped each other. After the trek, i thought i would be happy as all the tiring and "dangerous" pathways I had to overcome were over. But I was happy because we finished it together, as a team, no one was left behind.
