KEY DOCUMENTS:

• Updated Behaviour and Rewards Booklets

• Guidelines for Behaviour Management in lessons and Referrals

GUIDANCE- KEY POINTS

• Make Behaviour Policy and systems clear to all staff particularly new staff

• The documents give examples of misdemeanours and sanctions but these are for guidance and every case has to be considered individually and in context, using our professional judgement

• The processes are stepped and are successful if at every stage interventions have taken place early on

• The referral process is for emergencies only and should happen only for serious incidents or incidents where a stepped process of interventions has already taken place.

• Guidance for new staff on 15th Sept.

For discussion at CDT meetings today.

WHAT IS IT?

• It is a web-based system

• A tool that allows us to record and log incidents and rewards (slips) online, so reducing the need for paper-based reports.

• When incidents are logged automatic emails will alert relevant staff so there is quick identification of areas of concern.

• The system is tailored to our individual school's needs.

RAMPS- CONFIDENTIAL

• We have been advised to put RAMPS in place for two students in Year 8

• The students are Dylan Warner and Owen Hennessey

• A RAMP is a Risk Assessment Management Plan for students who display Sexually problematic or harmful behaviour.

• If you teach these students you will receive a briefing sheet with guidance about

minimising the risks.

Please be vigilant if you see these students out of bounds

In addition two Year7 students : Jordan Cutler and Callum Mikiel have a safety

support plan. Both their fathers do not have permission to be on the school site. This

will be reviewed with possible RAMPS for the fathers in due course.
