Many of the wonderful events that took place in October

had perfect fall weather days, which meant many of you

came out to enjoy different parts of the city! We saw lots

of decorated pumpkins and fall leaves as a part of the

décor as well. Moving into November, we’re looking

forward to seeing more fall themed events and the crisp

cool air that makes it perfect running weather, Rocky

Run or Philly Marathon anyone? See

you out there soon!

The Long & Short of OctoberPhoto by: M. Sabb

Is it just us, or does it feel like October came and went in

a flash? I guess time truly does fly when you’re having

fun! As the colder nights come into affect, October marks

the end of street festival season, a bittersweet time for

our office. Some of our favorite events take place in

October, like Harry Potter Festival, Bloktoberfest,

Outfest, Old City Festival, and Philly Free Streets. We saw

Philadelphians (and the Philly doggos) come out and

celebrate fall in the best ways possible. One of our favorite

moments was when Captain Rodriguez from the 26 PD

helped paint a mural with Mural Arts on the restaurant,

El Bohio during Philly Free Streets. It was an awesome

community engagement project and fun for all!
