    An organi(ation is a sub)set of the "#$Set of %ooks"# , which is used to

    further restrict the data a user can access Multi)org ,which allows a

    o A menu is a hierarchical arrangement of functions and menus of functions. ach

    responsibilit has a menu assig ned to it.

    o In oracle application,menus can not be copied. &ew menus ha'e to be built from

    scratch.

    o !hile creating a new menu hierarch, create the lowest)le'el menus first. A menu

    must be defined before it can be selected as an entr on another menu.

    o !hen a menu"#0s name is changed, the menu entries are not affected. Other

    menus calling the menu b its old name, automaticall call the same menu b itsnew name.

    o Menu structure can be documented b printing a Menu Report.

    Profile Options

    +hese are a set of changeable options that affect the wa our application runs.

    to run the report is a concurrent re:uest. +he program that generates the report is a

    concurrent program. Concurrent programs are started b a concurrent manager.

    inserted into a database table, and is uni:uel identified b a re:uest I1.Concurrent managers read re:uests from this table.
