Synopsis
During the Second World War, German soldiers were tapped in English and American camps in their private conversations. The unbearable life of the soldiers is revealed. Alexander Scherer is a German film director and screenwriter who grew up on the Lower Rhine and studied free graphic design and painting at the art school in Krefeld. He spent his master semesters mainly in New York City where he made first contacts for the independent film scene. After his return in 1967, he began an internship at the UFA film advertising in Dusseldorf. He directed over 60 commercials, but then got more involved with the image and PR film. He has had invitations to and participated in national and international festivals and conferences. He has won numerous prizes and diplomas. He won the German Business Film Award of the Federal Republic and the Gold Medal of the New York Festivals several times. In 1985, he helped found the N/W/F film and TV production industry. In 1995, he directed the successful NDR TV film Mausi Come Out?, which has since achieved cult status. In addition to his film work, he wrote repeatedly about his adopted hometown of Dusseldorf. In 2008, his band appeared in the series Past Finder, which deals mainly with the role of Düsseldorf in Nazi Germany.

Moritz Loewe is a German actor who was born in 1987 in Hannover, Germany. He studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. As part of his training, he performed for a year at the Dresden State Theatre. Moritz changed then to Theater Oberhausen where he had his first engagement. Since the season 2011/12, he has been a part of the Düsseldorf ensemble.

Marian Kindermann is a German actor who was born in 1986 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. During 2004-2007, he was at Staatstheater Wiesbaden. During 2007-2010, he was at Bayerische Theatre Academy August Everding. Since the season of 2010/11, he has been involved with Schauspielhaus Dusseldorf Sports: fencing, aikido, horseback riding, football, tennis, ballroom dancing. Marian is also very good at the English language.
