Young at heart: What is it?

Is a program hosted by the CCE which offers UTEP students the opportunity to interact with and learn from the elderly in our community. Students visit community centers or recreational sites for the elderly and participate in various activities with the residents (games, arts & crafts, talking, trips, bowling, mall visits, zoo visits, concerts, reading, etc.)

What is Service Learning?

Different from volunteering and community service

It’s an activity through which you will utilize classroom learning and apply to your activity, going beyond the experience knowing what are you doing and why.
