INTRODUCTION
E-50 PARTS CATALOG
INTRODUCTION '
This "New Look" illustrated Parts Catalog has been prepared· to aid the user in easily selecting and quickly identifying parts for the Beechcraft ModelE-50 TwinBonanza airplane. The information contained herein represents, substantially, an overall breakdown of the complete airplane, thus assuring that information essential or pertinent to the ordering of replacement parts necessary to retain quality and performance standards originally built into the airplane can be located by the user of this catalog. To simplify the organization of parts listing a new method of listing has been employed to show the manner in which replacement parts are stocked by the Service Parts Sales Department of Beech Aircraft Corporation. This system will be explained, in detail, under the Group Assembly Parts List heading of this Introduction.
The catalog is divided into four sections for purposes of indexing and cross-referencing. The following paragraphs, in addition to outlining the information to be found in each section, contain excerpts of actual catalog pages with brief explanations thereof.
SECTION 1 - INTRODUCTION.
General Information Vendors' Code Symbols General Arrangement of Complete Aircraft
SECTION 2 - GROUP ASSEMBLY PARTS LIST.
The breakdown employed consists of parts listings keyed to correspondingly indexed illustrations to facilitate proper identification, stocking and ordering of replaceable parts. The items that are stocked and available for immediate shipment are easily identified in this "New Look" catalog by a symbol D appearing just prior to the part number. The excerpt shown below illustrates the new system employed to determine which parts are stocked as immediate replacement parts.

Common AN hardware, although not identified by the code symbol, is also stocked for immediate shipment. The items that are not stocked but manufactured upon receipt of order are so noted by the absence of a code, as shown by the preceding excerpt. A delay will result in filling the order because of lead time required for manufacturing. The delivery date for parts not stocked will be furnished upon receipt of order. The items not listed in the catalog are parts which lose their identity

The excerpt shown .above portrays the indenture system utilized to indicate assembly sequence. By this method an installation or assembly, listed in column one, will be broken down with component details listed in column two. If a detail is in turn an assembly its component details will appear in column three. In this manner, it is possible to determine the parts that would be received if an assembly were ordered, since all replaceable parts contained within the assembly would be listed in the next column to the right. Attaching parts such as screws, bolts, nuts, etc., are listed in the same column immediately following the details of the part or parts they attach. If two or more assemblies are made up of a large majority of identical parts or the assemblies are left and right hand, the assemblies are listed together with their detail parts liSted as common for both aseemblies. The UNITS PER ASSEMBLY column indicates the number of detail parts required per assembly. When NP (NON PROCURABLE) appears in this column the listing is for reference only and not for procurement. When the same assembly, detail or attaching part is used on one or more systems within the airplane and is subsequently listed and/or illustrated on one or more pages, an accumulative total iS shown in Section 3, Numerical Parts List, to indicate the total number of times an identical part or assembly is used per airplane.

E -50 PARTS CATALOG
When a part is used ONLY on one side of an installation or airplane, and a highly similar part (often with the same description) appears in the identical place on the other side of the installation or airplane, the designation LH (left hand) or RH (right hand) will appear in the parts list. A dash number suffix to the part number is employed to make this distinction. The excerpt above shows this occurrence. In the majority of instances involving similar parts or assemblies, odd series dash numbers indicate LH (left hand)-parts and even series dash numbers indicate RH (right hand) parts.
Spare Assemblies
Spare assemblies are included in the Group Assembly Parts List for procurement purposes and are noted as such in the Description column as shown by the following excerpt:

The excerpt shown above indicates the manner in which those items furnished by manufacturers other than Beech Aircraft Corporation are designated. The Vendor's Code List, appearing on pages 5 thru 7 of the Introduction, is arranged alphabetically by code symbol and contains the name and address of the Manufacturer who made the part.
USABLE ON CODE COLUMN.
This column of the Group Assembly Parts List page contains a code to indicate any restrictions of part usability. No code in this column indicates usability on all Model E-50 aircraft. The following serial numbers have been assigned to the Model E-50.
EH-1 thru EH-70
The letter "E" followed by a dash and a number indicates parts restricted to specific use within the "E" series. The following table shows aircraft serial effectivity for the codes used in this catalog.

SECTION 3 - NUMERICAL PARTS LIST.
This section of the catalog is a complete numerical listing, presented in tabular form, to specifically list each detail part and/ or assembly in numerical sequence for ready reference to Section 2, Group Assembly Parts List. As an added convenience two blank columns are provided on each page of the Numerical Parts List. These columns may be used ~o write-in applicable changes, dates, quantities on hand, or any information considered to be useful to the user of this catalog.
SECTION 4 - SPARE PARTS ADDENDUM.
This section contains a non-illustrated tabular listing of spare assemblies which appear throughout the catalog. The user can determine from this listing what components will be received when an order is placed for a spare assembly.
IMPORTANT! WHEN ORDERING PARTS.
Delays in filling spare parts orders often occur as a result of incomplete information being furnished with the original order: i.e., model designation, serial number and date of manufacture not stated on the order. The original order should always contain the information indicated by check marks on the placard shown, as well as the correct part number and description, or any pertinent information which might further define the parts required. Address all orders to: Commercial Product Support

IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS
LOCATION OF PART NUMBER.
To find a part when the description is known and the number is not consult the Group Assembly Parts List pages applicable to the 1articular section of the airplane, and from the illustration determine the figure and index number of the part inquestion.
Figure and index numbers are listed in consecutive order in the columns on the left hand side of the Group Assembly Parts List page. When the figure and index number is located, the correct part number and description can be determined from the Part Number and
Description columns. This method is illustrated and shown step by step ia the illustration above.
LOCATION OF PART DESCRIPTION.
To find a part when only the part number is known, refer to the Numerical Parts List (Section 3).
Opposite each part is the figure and index number where the part is first shown in the Group Assembly Parts List. From the Group Assembly Parts List the correct description can be determined and the figure on which the part is illustrated can be located.

E-50 PARTS CATALOG
WARNING
This parts cata 1 og has but one function: to facilitate ordering replacement parts for the BEECHCRAFT Model E-50 Twin-Bonanza.
The illustrations in the catalog are keyed directly to the parts lists with which they are associated to aid the user in locating the part he requires~ In rendering these"drawings, many details which were not essential for parts list identification purposes were omitted for the sake of clarity. Likewise, in some instances detail sections of complex illustrations have been rotated in plane or their relative sizes changed, to show them more favorably on the printed page. No attempt has been made to show exact 1 y the routing of control cables, plumbing, or wire harnesses, since such details would be difficult and costly to render on a single printed page and would serve no useful purpose in a parts catalog.
For the reasons given in the preceding paragraph, catalog illustrations are unsuitable, and were not intended, for use as guides to reassembly, routing or connections on plumbing, cables or wiring. Since many small details, such as attaching parts, have been omitted from the illustrations, the parts lists, rather than the illustrations, should be used to determine items, and quantities of each, required for a complete assembly.
The illustrations in the catalog should be used as aids in the identification of assemblies carried in their respective lists, and for no other purpose.
This catalog is not usable as a maintenance reference.

WARNING
1 i cations referenced in this handbook are utilized during operation, servicing, and maintenance of the airplane.
Use only genuine BEECHCRAFT or BEECHCRAFT approved parts obtained from BEECHCRAFT approved sources, in connection with the maintenance and repair of Beech airplanes.
Genuine BEECHCRAFT parts are produced and inspected under rigorous procedures to insure airworthiness and suitability for use in Beech airplane applications. Parts purchased from sources other than BEECHCRAFT, even though outwardly identical in appearance may not have had the required tests and inspections performed, may be different in fabrication techniques and materials, and may be dangerous when installed in an airplane.
Salvaged airplane parts, reworked parts obtained from non-BEECHCRAFT approved sources, or parts, components, or structural assemblies, the service history of which is unknown or cannot be authenticated, may have been subjected to unacceptable stresses or temperatures or have other hidden damage, not discernible through routine visual or usual nondestructive testing techniques. This may render the part, component or structural assembly, even though originally manufactured by BEECHCRAFT, unsuitable and unsafe for airplane use.
BEECHCRAFT expressly disclaims any responsibility for malfunctions, failures, damage or injury caused by use of non-BEECHCRAFT approved parts.
