Bedtime story

Once upon a time there was a prince whose right eye was smiling and the left eye wascrying. He went to the witches in his town and asked them:

- Can you give me a medicine to cure me?

The first witch said:- Oh my lord, I`d really like to, but I can`t …

- Why not ? Said the sad prince.

- Because, when you were born, your mother and Lorelei had an agreement. Your mother was cursed when she was born and she couldn`t have children, but Lorelei

gave her the gift of bearing and she gave birth to you but she died, and that`s why

you have the right eye smiling and the other one crying. The right eye is your 

mother’s happiness , who was so happy to give you birth and the left one is her sadness because she couldn’t spend her life with you.

- Who is this Lorelei? Said the prince amazed.

- Oh, Lorelei is the greatest witch in world. She can give life to people but also take it

 back, said the witch.- Only  she can help you my prince! She is the only one …

After a few moments the prince said:- Where can I find this Lorelei?

- She lives at the End of the World. You can find her only if you really want to.

After these being said, the prince went to the Palace and ordered the servants to pack his bags. Next morning, before the sun rose, our prince took a horse and rode to the

unknown world. He never left his palace before but now he was forced to do so.

After a long and hard journey, the prince got lost in a giant forest , but the forest

wasn`t a usual one. It had silver trees and the lakes and the hills were made of steel.He saw a hudge house. At first he thought it was the creation of his imagination but

in a few seconds he saw a gorgeous women looking at him. She was blonde, with longand curly hair dressed in a dark green dress wearing a white bell around her waist. Sheapproached him and said:

- What in the world could a pretty boy like you do in an ugly place like this?

- I`m looking for Lorelei! He said exhausted.- I`m Lorelei. What do you want from me?

- Excuse me and my odd introduction. I am the Prince of the Great Grail Kingdom. I

came here because I found out about my mother`s curse and I need to regain my

normal life.- Oh my … Now I know you … Oh yes … Of course I remember you ! How couldn`t

I ? Your mother was beautiful as you are and you must know that she loved you very

much! Even if she died, she couldn`t spend her life with you.- Lorelei, please help me … It s not just my eyes. It s all of me like this. Now I m

smiling and in a few minutes I`m said. Help me …

- All right then … wait a second.She went into the house and brought a little bottle. Inside was a strange green liquid.

- Take this. Drink it and you will find yourself home and you will be normal.

- Oh, Thank you so much Lorelay! And he tooked the bottle to the mouth.

- But wait! Said the witch. I must war you ! All of this will be true only if you have the

true love for your mother inside your heart. If you can`t remember a thing about her 

then all of this will be a disaster. Now, you decide if you drink it or no. Goodbye my prince and take care of you.

The witch went away,the prince drank the green liquid and after a couple of days he

woke up in a hudge bed. He looked around and realized that he was at home. The lovefor his mother was the one who brought him home.
