The Bed Cleaner is a multi-purpose machine that speeds up the labour-intensive jobs in the preparation of hollowcore casting beds. It can be powered via a low-emission diesel engine, battery or electrically.
The cleaner sprays mould oil/release agent while three rotating brushes clean both the bed pallet and chamfer rails. Capable of pulling up to 10 x 12.5 mm prestressing strands, it incorporates an interchangeable cover roller, which lays and uplifts the insulation covers used to accelerate the curing time of slabs.
From the safety of the protective cabin, the operator controls the unit hydraulically at speeds ranging from 25 to 40 metres per minute.
