For Our Guests
Becoming a Christian...We believe that it is by grace that we are saved
through our response of faith, believing that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died to take the penalty of our sins on Himself, and that He was raised from the dead on the third day by the power of God. God calls people to believe in Jesus as their Savior, repent of sin in their life, make a confession of faith that Jesus is Lord and be joined to Christ and added to His church by being immersed (baptized) in His name. Having made this response of faith to God, all sin is forgiven and we receive the gift of God's Holy Spirit to live in us and to empower us to live for Jesus. All those who come to faith in Him may request immersion at any time.
Becoming a Member at Westside...All believers, who by faith in Jesus
have been baptized through immersion for forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit, may place their membership at Westside. You may express your desire to one of our elders or ministers, or mark the appropriate space on our visitor card. Members here are under the spiritual care of our shepherds and committed to service and full participation with the family of God at this congregation.
Responding...You may request immersion (baptism), re-commit your life, or
seek prayers on your behalf by going forward during the time of response or by contacting an elder, a minister, or any member of this congregation at any time.
Communion...Communion at Westside is open to all believers who have
gathered with us to honor Jesus.

Relay for Life - April 23-24
Relay For Life is a community event to raise money in the fight against cancer. Relay is a story of Hope, honoring cancer survivors and uniting people in over 4,600 communities across the country in our battle against this terrible disease. Participants camp out overnight to enjoy music, entertainment, and walk the track in support of their friends and loved ones. It’s a truly amazing event.
Westside Fit Families has a team participating in this year’s event, and we are asking for your support. A team member will be on the track for the entire 24 hours of the relay, and we are asking for your help. Please consider making a donation to the Westside team and help us in the fight against cancer. If you would like to make a donation, just come by the Salt and Light booth at church, or call Richard Fabrie at (661)342-8881. Thank you in advance for care and support.
