Join us as we honor 15 years of what the San Francisco Chronicle calls the Foundation’s “beloved and Brainiac” Authors Dinner

What We Do

The Berkeley Public Library Foundation partners with community

members, organizations, foundations, and businesses to raise

funds for library innovation and excellence. We help build and

refurbish library buildings, provide resources and materials for

dynamic new projects that keep our libraries creative, flexible,

and ready to serve in an ever-changing digitized and

interconnected world.

Event Details A reception, dinner and program celebrating the Bay Area’s rich

literary community to raise funds in support of the Berkeley Public

Library. Guests enjoy an epicurean meal with an author and take

home their author’s book. This year, two-time Pulitzer Prize

winner T. J. Stiles is the Honorary Chair and the Foundation

gives the Fred and Pat Cody Award to longtime public library

champion and award-winning journalist Linda Schacht Gage.

WHEN: 6 pm, Saturday February 11, 2017

WHERE: Central Library in downtown Berkeley WHO: Community supporters, civic leaders, business professionals, and philanthropic literati who believe that the better the public library the stronger our community.
