Become a Kentucky Master Naturalist NRE 390-002 This course will provide students with a solid foundation for serving as part of a community of well-informed citizen volunteers with the goal of advancing education, research, and outreach efforts dedicated to the conservation and management of Kentucky’s natural resources areas. Upon successful completion of this course, students will become a certified Kentucky Master Naturalist (KYMN). During the course, students will volunteer a minimum of 40 hours with a local organization focused on natural resource conservation and management. Supported by a UK Sustainability Challenge Grant HANDS ON ACTIVITIES SPEND TIME IN THE FIELD WITH EXPERTS Who: Students interested in natural resource conservation and management Meeting Times: Wed., 9:00 am – 9:50 am Fri., 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Required Field Trips: No more than two Saturday required field trips Contact Carmen Agouridis ([email protected]) to learn more.

This course will provide students with a solid foundation for serving as part of a community of well-informed citizen volunteers with the goal of advancing education, research, and outreach efforts dedicated to the conservation and management of Kentucky’s natural resources areas.
