DHIStudents completing any ASSA ABLOY Academy training module can apply those training hours to satisfy DHI's Continuing Education Point (CEP) requirements.

Most access control hardware solutions are sold through ASSA ABLOY Authorized Channel Partners and must be installed by Certified Integrators. Both groups undergo extensive training through the Academy to ensure thorough knowledge about these products.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)In addition to the ASSA ABLOY Credit Hours issued for any completed instructor led training and online training courses, ASSA ABLOY has also partnered with the following industry associations to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) required for state licensing and other purposes.

Intertek Qualified Personnel – Hardware Installer ProgramThe ASSA ABLOY Preferred Installer Program includes third-party certification by Intertek. Rigorous, hands-on training qualifies technicians to field prep Warnock Hersey labeled fire doors for the installation of specific ASSA ABLOY integrated locks and accessories while retaining the door's fire resistance rating and compliance with NFPA 80. In addition, Intertek Qualified Personnel may apply supplemental serialized labels to doors they've prepped and after ASSA ABLOY hardware has been installed. This signifies to Authorities Having Jurisdiction and Fire Door Inspectors that the installation was completed in accordance with NFPA guidelines.

ALOAStudents completing any ASSA ABLOY Academy training module can apply those training hours toward ALOA AUE credits, used to maintain certification credentials.
