Rebecca Lee Bailey, 47, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born on April 10, 1973, to Linda Sue Burford Bailey and Melvin Jackson Bailey, in Beaumont.

Survivors include her mother, Linda Bailey and father, Melvin Bailey, both of Beaumont; sister, Melinda Bailey Goodson and her husband, Jeff, of Sour Lake; sister-in-law, Lola Bailey Johnson of Lumberton; nephews, Alex Bergvall, Erik Bergvall, Cole Goodson, Bryce Bailey, and Colin Moore; niece, Lauren Stringer; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Bailey; and grandparents, Murial and Newton Bailey and Willy and Verline Burford.

Becky was our angel in disguise. If she ever pulled your hair, punched you, scratched you, took your glasses off, or you were with us somewhere and everyone else was looking our way because of the shrill noises coming from us, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving her and laughing with her. She was a gift from God, and she taught us so much more that we were able to teach her.
